I ordered esquite, and it was completely liquid, barely any corn or flavor. And it was $8. Never come to this place.
The food is very delicious, made with love. Fast service. We ordered the quesadilla, esquites and Horchata. Third time ordering and everytime has been good.
great al pastor tacos
I had written a really lengthy and thoughtful review of this restaurant, but the crux of it came down to the fact that the pictured is what the consider chips and salsa. The chips were cold and oil logged. Service was equally trash.
The worst Mexican food I’ve had in New York. I KNEW I should’ve walked out the restaurant when I didn’t smell food walking in. The place was cold and there was nobody there, except a friend of the guy behind the counter and someone picking up an order. I ordered take out chicken enchiladas with red sauce and chips. $23 freaking dollars. Ridiculous! There were maybe 15 chips. The enchiladas were not enchiladas and the red sauce was not enchilada sauce. It was small flour tortillas filled with chicken that had been cooked on a griddle then cut up in strips. The sauce was a hot salsa like sauce. Not one smoked chili was used to make that sauce. The tortillas were mushy and soggy from the not enchilada sauce. The rice was instant and flavorless. Everything in that dish was heated in a microwave. None of it was warming on the stovetop in a pot. The best thing about this dish were the three very thin slices of avocado and the three slices of radish. Complete rip-off from taste to cost. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Overpriced and disgusting food as simple as that .. nothing tasted fresh bland no flavor sloppy .. maybe this place is good to have a beer but idk how there still open based on their food.. Taco Bell is a better option .. terrible

this is the best spot i’ve been coming here for years, always delicious, reasonably priced. ignore the bad reviews and get the al pastor torta and a tepache (if u like kombucha) or a jamaica agua fresca!!

Not sure what’s up with these clearly bored, spoiled gentrifiers writing 1 star reviews. The food was good price, came pretty quickly, tasted great(I got an el pastor enchilada). I was going to eat in the park but it was so peaceful inside. Will come back :)

Why is this place so hilariously half assed! The 8 years I’ve lived by the park I occasionally will get something here and it always has no flavor like it’s a chore to make a decent 13 dollar torta. Come onnnn this place has been here long enough to taste at least alittle better!
Damn good steak burrito!
