I used to like this restaurant. Until I placed an order just alittle while ago. they made a mistake on one item on my order. I called it in & she said she will replace wrong item.. She didn’t listen (again) redid the whole order & sends it. Only they were expecting me to have the order they had already delivered in whole for return (Which I was never told or heard of) but I only had the item in error. they resent the whole order & expect me to have my whole order ready to return when all I was expecting & needed was white rice with no beans. I told delivery man to take back new order (as I was only expecting one item) he refused. Only to have the restaurant call me back very disrespectful & hostile. Didn’t care to hear anything I had to say. This will last time I will order from this place. Attached is a photo of the item I didn’t eat (white rice with beans) & the whole other order they resent. Rude & disrespectful. Needless to say… I would never order from here again.

I’m sorry only because the workers seem so nice . But absolutely not coming back. I went twice just to be sure however, first time I bought an oatmeal & was looking forward to it. First oatmeal from Dominicans that tasted bland. Okay I said I’ll give it another try and went back for chicken and cheese empanadas. The empanadas was COLDDDDD not even a little warm, the the chicken inside was burnt ANDDDDDDDD there was a couple BONES IN MY EMPANADAS. Never have I ever eaten a empanada with chicken BONES in it , almost killed myself 4/10 and the 4 only because again the workers were REALLY nice people. Food just not it.

Ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that supposedly came with cheese and tomatoes and I got a bread with old roasted chicken that was so hard to chew. They only put old chicken and the bread and that’s it. Are you serious? How do you advertise a sandwich in a different way and send this crap. Paid 30 with delivery. You should be ashamed of yourselves sending this to someone. Disgusting

Went here for lunch on Father’s Day with my dad and husband. More of a takeout type of spot but there’s the open to sit at a bar or at a table. We dined in. No wait at all. Sat down immediately. Server was polite although wasn’t as attentive thought our time there. but the food was delicious and very filling. Definitely worth the money. Tasted like authentic Dominican food! Would come back again.

Whom ever rune el cofre now is not doing a good job at all just bought some food the white rice wasn’t fresh pot of rice was abit hard and the chicken no Latin taste to it I’ve been coming to this place for years and I’m sure who ever is running now has to be someone new that took over or they have a new cook please get rid of that cook Latin dishes are sure pose to be always fresh and have gusto of a taste
