I am an Ecuadorian in New York and since I found out about this restaurant I drive from Yonkers to eat here, even though parking is difficult to find, the food is worth it. But the service is terrible, it seems strange to me that a restaurant like this doesn't have desserts, because even a lunch restaurant in Queens has it, I don't know if it was because they wanted to leave, they told us they didn't have dessert, plus they didn't come to ask if we were okay,...
Trying the typical dishes of Ecuador again here in the US is an unforgettable experience, the casserole that I ate was very tasty, I felt its texture to the perfect point with its peanut fish and parsley accompanied by white rice with garlic and lemon wow I moved to my Guayaquil . Today I ate very delicious broth. Thank you
When I doubt ask what they recommend, I promise you won’t be disappointed! Everything was perfect. Canastitas de verde; the ajillo sauce was delicious. The Tonga Manaba de Mariscos is a must have. The Encebollado wasn’t overwhelmed with onions like other places making it perfect. Overall this is a must try for Ecuadorian food in NY!
