First and foremost the torta is delicious 5⭐️
The bread is fresh and so good. I’ve never had a torta this good !!
My partner on the other hand, ordered a burrito with steak, but was disappointed that there was more nopal than steak itself :/

It was CACTUS (NOPALES) ASADO. I ordered a Carne Asada plate. I didn't know that half the plate was full of cactus (nopalitos). I truly dislike cactus. If I would have known I wouldn't have order it. Some people like cactus, I don't. Awful flavor on the meat because they put the cactus on the top of it. It was a take out order and I didn't realize it until I got home.. The beans were like a soup with a few beans. I know the crisis is bad, but water and beans is unacceptable. Rice mediocre. Last time eating there.

Kind of want to gate keep this place because tbh, this place is such a hidden gemstone. The food here is sooo good. I've come here multiple times and never have I been dissappointed. It is a family owned business so there's literally only two people (the chef which is probably the dad? And the waitress which is probably the wife?). So you'll def run into some casual customer service and might have some wait time on terms of being served/seated but it's a casual place. Very homey environment but the food is phenomenal. Prices here too for the amount of food, it's wild how they still stay on business. The owners are very kind, (I've seen a lot of times they help this elderly beggar) and I think they deserve more business despite that might mean that they will raise their prices

Now my favorite Mexican restaurant in the neighborhood! The food is delicious and affordable! I ordered the bistec encebollado and the shrimp el mexicano, both which had huge portions. The dining area is not crowded during lunch, perfect for casual conversations.

False information about prices on the menu!!!
They must modify the prices on the menu. Since they are lies. One orders from the menu, and it turns out that they charge an extra $4 more for each meal. It is not good to lie to customers with false information.

Horrible service. I ordered food from GrubHub. After 1hr I called no answer. I cancelled order after another 45mins of waiting and no answer from restaurant. The restaurant is only 2 blocks away from my house. I will never eat their food as their service is trash. I went to restaurant and saw a B on window. Trash service, B grade food quality.

The worst no parking of course you’re in New York no water and they want to give u a gallon of water and change you $4.00 OMG WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN .
