The food comes out here very fast. I have ordered from here several times and not once have I been disappointed. The tacos and flautas have great flavors, spiciness, and texture. The dishes here are very crispy and the salsa roja and salsa verde both have a great amount of spice and flavor. At this restaurant, the majority of the staff only speak spanish so be prepared. I did eat here when I was vegetarian and they had dishes to accommodate me. Lastly, there are lots of Mexican people eating at this restaurant and I think that shows a lot of how authentic and tasty the food is.

Good service
Beautiful place to appreciate the sunset ?Beautiful landscapes ✨
Pretty good local spot for tacos. I grabbed some the other day for lunch, and they hit the spot. I had a steak, chicken, and pork al pastor. The al pastor had the best taste, but it was smaller than the rest. The chicken and steak were good, but I got a few chunks of fat in each, which was a bit of a turn-off. For the price, however, it was a good lunch.
Parking: Limited street parking.

The vegetarian burrito was filled with vegetables out of a can (carrots, peas and corn) and nothing else. I can't image anything more revolting.
On food quality alone, El Mirador is the best restaurant in Kensington and dwarfs most of Brooklyn's Mexican restaurants. Prices are great and fair and there's a wide menu capable of accommodating most.I usually don't doc points for service but El Mirador is incredibly flakey. Sometimes they just don't open. Getting delivery from them is a great way to ruin an afternoon and even in person, it can take upwards of ninety minutes to get small orders.I try to judge on food alone but this place is so lethargic and unpredictable that the experience can and will be periodically ruined by their own disfunction.
Kid-friendliness: Many comfort foods that appeal to kids.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free and dairy free choices.
