Just here to agree with another reviewer.. too many dang dogs inside this coffee shop. Which is unfortunate because I live in one of the tower buildings and this is the closest, most convenient to spot to walk to. Business owners must return to normalizing not allowing dogs inside of a space where people are eating… just feels like common sense. You would think you’re in a pet store the way the people bring their animals to this place. I’ve started going to Café Alula or For the Record instead.

Listen… I’ve been frequenting this little coffee shop for the better part of two years. But I have to finally review and say that the entitlement of a dog owners and how the café allows so many dogs inside of a small place where people are eating is getting far out of hand. I came in this morning to get my regular coffee and a sandwich and there were four dogs inside the cafe, two dogs were on a long lead and walking around under tables while their owners stood in line. I also noticed there was a dog hair clumps on the stand where you get napkins and straws. Another time recently I was working in the morning on my laptop and they were two dogs barking at each other for the better part of 4/5 minutes inside of the café. How is this not a serious health code violation? Not to mention some people are seriously allergic to dogs. And why are so many dogs allowed in a space where food is being prepared, served and consumed. I really hope the owner reads this review and considers revising their business practice

Walked in to get morning coffee and there were so many dogs inside you could literally see dog hair floating in the air.

The vibe is not stuffy here, although it could be. The baristas actually care. No dead eyes or side eyes when you ask for something specific or that things be done with care. Like they make sure the coffee is hot enough. Or they'll steam up the milk to ensure it's all just right. I am biased, though: they serve a breakfast sandwich with a hash brown patty tucked between a brioche bun. Lucky to have them near a bit of a coffee desert.

I’m a huge fan of expresso martini and I have to admit, they do the best I’ve tried in my entire life. Really it s a 10 out of 10. I don’t remember the name of the lady of does them, but Saturday night you can go there blindly… congrats and thank you !!

I just got the Turkey sandwich for lunch and it was SO. GOOD. All the ingredients were super fresh - turkey, croissant, honey, apples. I was hesitant over the $16 but it was so worth it. Also, the music and vibes in there were so good!!

We stumbled upon this place on our first evening in NYC - we were on the hunt for an espresso martini to help kick the jet lag after flying from UK. We were delighted to find their happy hour with it being a Friday night - $7 espresso martinis (bargain!). The place itself was decorated for Christmas and it was a lovely way to start our trip. Espresso martinis were excellently made and tasted great!

The Grinchy Mocha is the finest coffee I have had the pleasure of tasting in New York on a beautiful winter vacation I took. I was so pleased with the quality of the ingredients and the exquisite taste of the stuff, that I came back hours later for another drink. The peppermint along I’m sure with every other aspect of the coffee’s construction was and will continue to be fantastic. I love it and am happy so happy beautiful things like this specific drink and specific place exist in America. I haven’t had the food but I assume it’s good stuff as well. I highly recommend this place.

I hope you enjoy their products as much as they enjoy making them.
