The EM is a great little Vietnamese restaurant. You can eat very well here and the service is quick and very friendly. The EM has a small map where there is something for everyone. The special drinks/cocktails are very refreshing and also very tasty. The furnishings are very simple but still somehow cozy. Can recommend the EM

Not recommended. Service per kg. You are served quickly and if it is close to closing (at 8 pm) you are almost kicked out because they are cleaning. In total our dinner lasted 20 minutes. Plus they had the nerve to add a 20% tip directly to the bill. Shameful stuff!

By far best Pho I could find in NYC. I’ve been going to Em regularly for the last year or so and it never disappoints. I like the consistency of this place. The service is generally good too, expect for the guy with a beanie who’s arrogant and throws food on your table like a dog.Would still recommend this place if you like a good Pho!

For drinks, we ordered the Mango Tango (that sounds sweeter than it is in reality) and the Pineapple Express. Both really good.We started with the 8-piece serving size of wings and then the butter clams. The wings were perfect in texture and flavor; the sweet touch of the sauce worked out pretty well. The clams were delicious, too; the side of bread was fresh and warm. For the mains, I did the pork chops, also with a touch of sweetness that made me like them a lot—a good portion size.My partner got the dry pork noodles, and I got to try a bit of that too; it was good and a big portion. It was a great experience overall. It seems they were a bit understaffed today, but the workers were highly diligent and on top of their game, so everything worked out fine.

LOVED em— everything was amazing but especially the seafood fried rice. I was actually blown away with the flavors and quality of the ingredients at em. the pho was also stellar… the flavor of the broth was incredible and rich. If i came back I would definitely do the pho. I got the dry vermicelli dish with crispy tofu and it was great, but it was lacking some sauce. the sauce was a little too sweet for me and not balanced enough— i also asked for more sauce but then it was too sweet. the pork vermicelli was also so good… the pork itself was incredible. so flavorful, crispy, and tender! I would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Not just for pho. Cozy neighborhood viet bistro for Vietnamese snacks and more modern dishes. Sure, the pho broth here is great, but you would be missing out on the butter clams, viet pancakes (ask for extra crispy!), and spring rolls. The dried noodles are a skip for me, reminded me of the packaged MiGoren noodles, and....bit too salty and pales in comparison to the rest of their entree list. I missed the wings. I must go back and try. Did you test the wings? Let me know :)

Nothing is better than a hot bowl of pho on a freezing winter night! My group ordered the Hu Tieu Kho (dry noodles) , Pho Bo, and Ngheu Xao Bo (clams). The clams had a ton of flavor (a bit on the sweeter side). My pho was good and the beef was really tender. The Hu Tieu Kho was a hit with my group as well.I would note that this is definitely on the pricier side for Viet food. Overall, a solid option if you're in the area though.

Food was decent. A mix of modern and classic Vietnamese dishes. Chef has beautiful presentation. Bread seemed stale and soup did not come out piping hot ( more warm).Staff was pleasant, polite, with a dash of NY sass
