The kid working today was so sweet and helpful! I always enjoy their empanadas and love that they have many options with no cheese! Delicious options at a great value! I hope they bring in a non dairy milk as I'd love to get an iced coffee... but I'll be returning for those pernil empanadas!
Found this delicious jewel snack spot. Adorably small with a good menu. I love the outside seating and the staff is polite. Clean shop is a plus.

I’ve been going to the other location in Brooklyn for years. This location the food and service hasn’t been what I’m used to. A few weeks ago I ordered 4 empanadas and all 4 were wrong and didn’t match what was supposed to inside because they are labeled on the outside. Today I said let me try again and my empanadas were dark brown on the outside and barely warm in the middle. Not sure what’s happening but the potential is there. It’s a hit or miss.

I was walking by Empanada Loca on 86th Street and decided to stop and pick up a treat for my husband. I had a million questions. The young man running the shop answered all of them and was very nice about it. I brought home chicken, chicken and cheese, and guava and cheese empanadas. All were delicious. This is "treat" food for us, but I expect to be stopping in again!

Delicious!!! I stopped by today and picked up two tasty empanadas, the Andes and their chicken one. I regret not buying more. I was also be try happy to find Colombian drinks sold there (postobon and Manzana)- such a hard find here! Lazaro, the employee working there was kind and informative. Give them a shot! I hope they add more things to their menu, I’m already planning my next visit ✌?

Ever since this location opened, we have been going in there weekly. So far, we have only tried the cheese empanadas and the philly cheesesteak empanadas— both are delicious - will try more items!

I got the chicken empanada and the Philly empanada. Today is Friday and I pass by this spot all the time. I didn’t want to try it the last couple of times because it wasn’t cheat day! Today I couldn’t help myself and came in and the place is fairly new. It was easy to order and I spoke to the owner. He was super friendly and pride himself for opening his third location. The empanada even after having it 40 mins later was still soft and tasteful. The price was reasonable too. $5 for the Philly and $4 for the chicken. Next time I’m walking across the street or I’ll order every single time I walk home! Btw each empanada came with a different sauce suited to the type of protein.
