Jose is the man - he took such good care of us and was super communicative and helpful. The food was really solid and our guests all enjoyed it. I will say, I’ve eaten empanada mamá many times before and empanada papa blows them out of the water!!!
We order empanada papa for our department meetings for a large hospital. Everyone is always so thankful for the delicious, fresh, and warm empanadas, beans , rice , and plantains and the special sauces! We order at least monthly and they have vegan - chicken- beef options and more. 10/10 recommend !
From the first day I tried the empanadas at Hester Street on the lower east side it was love at the very first bite! Jose and Pedro are the best and most friendly brothers you will ever meet. They haven't forgotten me from the first day and I won't forget the delicious empanadas either or them! They make deliveries, cater and have many pop ups if you are ever in the area where their pop ups are. It's a MUST try and you will also say they are the best empanadas you...
