Kid-friendliness: I work for a school and we ordered spring rolls, lo mein, sesame chicken, pork dumplings and pork fried rice. My students went back for seconds! If you're ordering consider that middle schoolers eat half the amount of an adult so you don't over order.

Empire Taco is a locally owned small business. The family that runs the restaurant is so kind and hard working. They catered a lunch for our school for over 500 people. We got the pork fried rice, veggie spring rolls, pork dumplings, sesame chicken, and veggie lo mein. All of the food was delicious and our students couldn’t get enough. We would love to cater from them again.

Order some simple black bean and cheese soft shell tacos, there was none in the store when i ordered and no came in the whole 30mins I had to wait for said tacos, the shell was thick and tasted like doe, I mean I have never had such bad black bean and cheese tacos, I'm not sure what changed or happened but this place is for sure not the spot, they use to be good back in the days but now total trash, never going back there again.

I've never had the Chinese food here, but they have the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The tortillas were more like flatbread, and it was a bad texture, and too small. The meat was bad. Barely cooked, and completely unseasoned.

I ordered thru door dash & on their menu it says boneless rib tips “with fried rice”. The lady told me that their menu is wrong. False advertising. Terrible.
Everything in my order tasted terrible. The teriyaki chicken was questionable. I’m not even sure it was chicken. The hot and sour soup tasted rancid and was frankly inedible.

The tofu here is always cooked so perfectly, I usually get it with orange sauce and the texture is always crispy and soft on the inside. Some of the best tofu I've ever had. One of my favorite places for a quick, cheap, vegan/vegetarian meal. Plus the people there are always nice.
