Great pastries!
I recently stopped by and ordered the Dumbo 10 and a Cappuccino, and overall, I had a really pleasant experience. The Dumbo 10 was absolutely delicious you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients in every bite. The bread was perfectly toasted, the fillings were well-balanced, and the flavors came together beautifully. It’s clear that care goes into preparing their food, and that attention to detail really stood out.
The Cappuccino was also enjoyable, with a smooth texture and a nice aroma. However, I do think the presentation could be improved a bit the cup got quite hot and wasn’t the easiest to hold. A small change like better cup insulation or a sleeve would make a big difference.
The atmosphere of the place felt cozy and welcoming, and the staff were kind and attentive even when things got a bit busy. Overall, I left happy and satisfied. It was definitely worth the wait, and I’d recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fresh, flavorful meal and a good cup of coffee.

Literally right next to the NYU Ambulatory Surgery Center. Very good quality and a cozy atmosphere! Very friendly staff. The service was slightly delayed since there was one lady prepping their sandwiches.
All in all, a very good place and a very good experience! We recommend it!

Adventuring around Brooklyn Heights area and popped in here for some gelato and espresso….both very tasty. But what wasn’t tasty was the welcome or any level of hospitable behavior from the staff….the vibe was they’d prefer we weren’t there. Seemed to bother them when we were looking for their gelato selection (which was off the side on the way to the bathroom) …but even when we left and thanked them, they literally looked at us like we were crazy….dang. Makes me think of the joke about why the hipster burned their mouth on the pizza….had to eat it before it got cool. Lol…this place has tasty stuff, but the hipster I don’t care vibe and energy gets zero star rating under the ‘service’ category….id suggest doing better, but I don’t think they care.

Food was ok, place is clean but the service was awful. Person behind counter was super rude. All we asked for was a cup of water for our dog and for some reason she gave us the biggest death stare…

Very good toast with avocado and good, hot chili flakes. Coffee is also good. The cafe could up its ambition: if someone orders to stay, give them a coffee cup, not a disposable cup that ends up in recycling. Also, buy a cloth to wipe down tables! Was given a napkin to wipe the sticky table and then the server came over and wiped it with a wet napkin.

They are not friendly, poor customer service, they didn't have cream, the toaster was not working, and didn't advise that they didn't have the implements. Horrible
Coffee is solid. Loved their Nutella latte but it was PRICEY and their bathroom was big but a regular light would be nice. It was soooo dark. That was just the weird thing for me. Otherwise not bad

I love the small-town feel of this place, amidst all the bustle of Brooklyn’s Atlantic Avenue. They make the drinks with care, and they are all delicious (my fave is the matcha latte). Sandwiches are delish as well. Ambiance is nice, they play chill music. Mostly locals, despite the close proximity to Brooklyn Bridge Park, which is a plus in my book.

They have a deaf employee working there. She’s the best out of all. Very nice. I am very surprised to see a deaf person working and communicating well. The Nutella Latte is the best! You guys have to try it. The sandwiches are also delicious.

I love going to Espresso Me! Really solid coffee, ample seating space, relaxed vibes. Most importantly, they’re such nice people.
I left my glasses one day in the shop and when I returned weeks later, they’d actually kept them and remembered them for me ? Most coffee shops would’ve chucked them in the trash lol. Thank you Espresso Me!
