Great old school, style pizza. Delicious Sicilian (square) slice. His tomato sauce is aauthentic home-style. One of my favorite pizzerias around. I have lived in Brooklyn for 53 years and Summer in Italy yearly l, so I had a lot of pizza in my life. Espresso pizza. 'Molto Bene'. He should be reviewed by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports...I recommend this place without reservation.

Nestled between the bagel place and the liquor store, espresso pizza has an easy to miss but classic and nostalgic store front. Quiet and not many tables, there wasn't a ton of variety available when I stopped in on a Monday afternoon. But the quality speaks for itself. Thin slice with a beautiful soft crunch. I thank god every day I don't have a gluten allergy. Margherita is the way to go!

2nd day in a row here; found this location by mistakes but some mistakes are good because I came back. The Margareta slice is good and the price is reasonable. I had a square in the early afternoon with garlic knots with sauce then when back for the Margareta. Yes was a NY slice and Margareta. When I am in the area, I will visit again.Parking: Too many No Standing or No Parking anytime signs.

The pizza is fine, but they never have any pizza ready whenever I go in there. On Friday night, they are allegedly open until 9:30. But if you walk in anytime after 6 PM (DINNER TIME!), there's no pizza. So odd.

I also appreciate that even when we get a deluxe pie (hubby's favorite) the crust is always crispy and delicious, never soggy which often happens with a well loaded pizza. Staff is friendly and efficient and I've never waited more than 20 minutes when I've ordered for pick up.
Needed a recommendation for lunch since I don't usually eat down here. Glad some coworkers suggested Espresso. Pizza was great; good classic slices. Pizza chef was friendly too. Left very satisfied and would come back any time.

Tony is an old world pizza maker the last of the Mohicans He uses quality ingredients and his square slices are best around!!!! I wish there were more pizzeria like Expresso Thank you Tony for great food !!! God bless!!!!!
