Esqueleto Taqueria is a nice addition to the neighborhood. Offerings include an assortment of tacos and burritos, in addition to flautas, nachos, quesadillas, guacamole, elotes, and a handful of other side dishes. As others have noted, this is a ghost kitchen, so calibrate your expectations accordingly. I ordered a carne asada burrito with a side of chips and guacamole. The burrito was solid, but I would skip the chips and guac next time around. The guac was lacking in lime, salt, cilantro, and jalapeño. In general, their flavors are a bit too subdued. They are definitely playing it safe by avoiding intense heat and spice. You could argue that this type of food might appeal to a wider audience... ... anyway, this a decent choice for affordable & casual Mexican takeout.

I enjoyed my taco lunch on Tuesday. And I was so pleasently surprised to finally find a taqueria that didn't want to melt my face of with hot sauces. My favorite taco is Al Pastor and they had them. Also the shrimp tacos were delicious.

It's a "ghost kitchen" as they call it. It's shared with Brado pizza. It's delivery only on Yelp but you can get food in person from a reduced menu. Our impromptu taco Tuesday in downtown Brooklyn was saved. The wait staff was very attentive. I'm not impressed by anybody's $12 margarita...on a Tuesday...and there's nothing special or mixologist about it. This is a 3.5 star food place with good service.

Imagine a pizza place serving Mexican food and that’s the level of quality you’ll get. This is hidden in a pizza place. The guac and salsa were tasteless, the guac had a huge pit in it, one of the servers spilled our salsa and didn’t bring more, the taco order was wrong and when they brought the right one it had a nasty chicken tendon in it. The grilled shrimp seems made from frozen. Just. Order. Pizza.

Wonderful hidden taqueria gem in Brooklyn Heights with great outdoor seating on Atlantic Ave. The place is hidden in Brado Pizza. Just ask for a menu.

We tried this spot because we love Brado (their sister restaurant I think?) and everything was delicious! The nachos and green hot sauce were the best I've had in the area. Will definitely be ordering again.

OMG! I ordered the nachos today and I am thrilled that I did. Its my first time ordering but it wont be my last. My picture does not do these nachos justice. So well constructed and great toppings, black beans, cheese, pico de gallo, jalapeños, guacamole, sour cream and a few sliced radishes. As my protein i chose the carnitas, nicely pulled and the flavor was great. Arrived in a timely manner and still warm. Great lunch!

I got takeout from Esquelito Taqueria today... Twice! It’s SO nice to have quality Mexican take out in the neighborhood that’s reasonably priced. The burritos and tacos are amazing - carne asada and chicken particularly. Flavor is fantastic, and portions are filling. Guac is fresh and salsas are delish. Esquelito is definitely going to be a mainstay on the family takeout rotation!

I'm not sure what the other review is about, as it's takeout only (so don't plan on staying for a non existent margarita... ). Esquelito is definitely going to be a mainstay on the family takeout rotation!
