Good tacos though there are definitely better in NYC. Lines can be fierce, and finding seating tough. Worth going if you love tacos but skip if a long line.

I saw a long line on a Sunday afternoon and I am always skeptical of long line for food. It turns out that this is the best tacos I've ever had. Even better than the one in Mexico.
Good tacos but if you eat there you will smell like one

Agua de jamaica is the only thing I enjoy here. Tortillas are cold, and the proteins in the tacos aren’t cut small enough or sliced thin enough. Also, the mushroom taco was disappointing, felt like I was eating a salad in a tortilla, which isn’t actually a bad thing, but the flavor/seasoning on the mushrooms didn’t taste Mexican.
I got the same order here as I would at El Chato, this place couldn’t compare. The mushroom taco at el chato is soooo good, a real Mexican version of what a vegetarian option should taste like!!!
Definitely in my top 3 taco spots. It’s 2am and I’m craving it so I had to leave a good review 😅

Cocktails are a total rip off, but the tacos are pretty decent and the service is very quick. The tacos are expensive vs. the quality (Williamsburg Birria right down the street for the same price and better flavor) BUT the mushroom taco is absolutely outstanding. I probably would only come here again for the mushroom tacos.
The best taco place in NYC by far !!

Yum! I love the ribeye steak tacos — and the Hibiscus agua fresca is a must-have! 😋 A bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the flavor.

I had this rated as a 5.
The previous oyster mushroom taco was the BEST vegetarian taco I’ve had in my life and it wasn’t close. I would come here multiple times a week even though I don’t live in the neighborhood. It was exceptional.
A few months ago they changed their recipe to use I think maitake mushrooms. It’s more expensive now and tastes wayyyy worse. The texture just isn’t the same. After trying it I haven’t gone back. I have no idea why they changed their recipe. To this day, the original mushroom taco was the best tasting veggie taco I’ve ever had and I hope they revert back.

I got the brisket taco - gringa style - and loved it!
I was at a bar in Greenpoint, and locals told the tacos were the best in the area! I had to try.
Thanks to the lady in line (maybe her name was Cindy?) who said she recommended the brisket!
Super tender, flavorful, and a good portion!

Marvelous tacos. The BEST mushroom taco i’ve ever had in my life. Pork and chicken very good. Rib eye competent. Great service, and delicious aguas frescas. I’m from Mexico and this are very, very good tacos!

Can't sit anywhere cuz y'all got these hip barrels everywhere but no seats. Nachos were really salty and the pollo tacos were undercooked. If you do decide to sit outside there's only 2 tables.

Didn't care about the taco but the corn ice cream was amazing (better shared by 2).

They’re good but didn’t taste like authentic Mexican tacos. The Al Pastor were sweeter than spicier and instead of regular onions they used green onions on Suadero -don’t get me wrong it was good but not ‘wow’ good. They kept the stand-up eating taco concept but trendy and fancier so it kind of defies the purpose.

I make excuses to come to this neighborhood to get their tacos. Absolutely delicious.
