It was one of the best falafel in NYC. The real Israeli delicious falafel. And it's very sad that he has been close down by Tartikov because of a.... Saurkraut! They said that it was "not enough" kusher! Reshoyim!

My wife and I stumbled upon Falafamania while visiting Borough Park. What an incredible find! We had soup, a falafel sandwich, a sabich plate, and some pastries. Let me be perfectly clear - EVERYTHING was fantastic! Homemade soup better than my bubbe could make, soft tasty pita, fresh store made hummus, crunchy tasty veggies (oh my the pickles!), roasted eggplant, and probably the best falafel that I've every had! On top of all that, the owner Moshe is a wonderful and gracious person. He made sure we didn't leave without trying some chocolate halvah pastries from Israel. INCREDIBLE! We took some home to Philly for our kids and they want more. From now on, whenever we are in NYC, we will make a point to visit Moshe at Falafamania. Truly fantastic, fresh homemade food and a very kind and gracious host. Can't wait to return! LOVE!

Legit is really food in the heart of one of New York City’s most diverse neighborhoods. The falafel was excellent cooked to order the hummus was also delicious. I ordered a platter and it came with many different accompaniments just like it would in Israel. The Peter brothers make fresh and the service was really good
