This store has been opened and in business for many many years it is a staple in the neighborhood and I know people that come from other areas just to purchase food from the family store.. Absolutely amazing food! In a community that has many many places that serve Middle Eastern cuisine this one is right up there with the best.

This place is one of my top spots in the city. I rarely say this, so take this review to the bank.Excellent service, excellent food, everything I ordered was superb. Yams, chicken wings, on rice then I had the Mediterranean cheesecake for dessert, wow, wow, wow. This is one of nyc best.

I’m eating for the first time as I’m writing this review, this food is amazing I can’t begin to express how well made this is.Luckily I took a picture before having a bite.I got the turkey meatballs and they’re so flavorful, with a grain and veggie side.First time having semolina too, it’s so good!

Came here for the first time today and it was amazing! The owner was so lovely and gave me some suggestions and even let me sample a few items. I ordered the Minerva and it was incredible. It tasted like a home cooked meal. There are so many healthy and vegetarian options here too. I’m staying in this area for a week and already know I’m going to be here a few times.

The Family Store in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, is a staple for fresh, homemade, healthy, and flavorful Middle Eastern food! This spot sells some of the most delicious Middle Eastern dishes. There's something for everyone to find and love at this restaurant, from salads by the pound to delicious entrees and jam-packed sandwiches. The Family Store caters to all diets, and the staff is willing to customize dishes to your specific needs. I've ordered the Bombay chicken sandwich, falafel sandwich, and their famous vegan sandwich - to which they customized to my liking by substituting lentils for cauliflower. Be sure to request your sandwiches to be "spicy" to give your tastebuds a run for their money! While all of their food is great, my favorite thing to order is their orzo pasta with spinach. The orzo pasta is a delicious, lite, and enjoyable meal on its own or a side with its tasty homemade falafels. With a friendly staff and fantastic, fresh, and healthy food, what more can one ask for? The Family Store reigns as one of my favorite places to order Middle Eastern sandwiches or sides from their prepared food menu. Everything is homemade with lots of love and care, aside from fresh and wholesome ingredients. Also, be sure to grab a piece of their famous Semolina Cheesecake before you go! I tried it my first time and well, let's say my statement for "just one bite.." turned into just eating the entire slice, haha! Their deliciously unique cake is genuinely addictive and worth a bite, or two, or more!

Great store with wonderful staff and even more amazing food!!!EVERY single thing they have is made with such fresh ingredients and the taste is heavenly and I have to say - their Thai noodles with chicken is way better than any Thai place I’ve ever eaten.
