Very nice young men working in this restaurant. Very welcoming environment. Food is very good. I loved how ripe and tender their plantains were. The stew turkey with rice and sweet peas were on point as well. Really hit the spot.
The plantain... I think they forgot to fry it dry and no flavor
The lanbi (conch) I’ve never seen a lambi this hard
The pate kode.... gave us the wrong pate
I highly recommend if you want authentic haitian food, DO NOT go to this establishment
They give you slot of rice and little meat

I came here because my first choice was closed. Service was good. The waitress said it would take 15 minutes for my food but it took 50 minutes. Then had to wait another 5 minutes for green plantain to be fried. I'm used to West Indian restaurants take forever so the time didn't bother me.The food was just ok. The snapper was salty and kind of hard. They probably soaked/cleaned it in salt water because the saltiness was all throughout the fish. Even when you fry fresh fish hard the meat has a soft texture. This wasn't soft so I don't think it was not that fresh. The pickliz was really good. The serving of black rice was huge compared to the ratio of the fish. The taste of it was meh. I felt it was missing something. I can eat rice with avocado or fried plantain only but this rice isn't that flavorful for me to eat as a main course. The meal was $25The food in the buffet looked ok but nothing I'd want to come back to try and the patties looked dry af. I ignored the Yelp reviews because Until today, I haven't had Haitian food that didn't slap. The food was mediocre at best.

The food was horrendous!!! I’ve tasted better Haitian food than this. I definitely do not recommend this! WORST NYC HAITIAN RESTAURANT!!!!! At this point the place should get shut down to be honest. I’m Haitian and they put me down for this one!!

Better to pick out your food in person than order online. Good selection of traditional Haitian food that you grew up eating. Food is weighed on the scale and you pay the cost
What is going one with the team of fancy buffet? Are you guys under new management or else. Who be cooking the foods?…. I am very unhappy with what happened to me today (10/13/2021), and let me tell You All workers in there from the back to the front of the store. that is not good for business, and you guys are messing with others Health (Food Poison ☠️). I’m never buying there Again.
the fish was old, salty and spicy. the beef soup or cow foot wasn't tasty. the turkey didn't taste fresh. first time and last time to order from this place. very disappointing! They had driver waiting for a while to get this unacceptable food! I don't recommend it
