I can describe the food here as Carribean with a modern twist. The lavender infused rotisserie chicken was so delicious and tasty. It was juicy and full of flavor. I had it with the sweet plantains and black rice. They provided a healthy portion of each but I wasn't a big fan of the black rice. If you are expecting traditional Haitian black rice flavor, this is not it. I'm not saying its bad, just not what I expected. I also had the oxtail grilled cheese which was so good. It is definitely a must. The staff were also polite and professional. Overall, this place is a must visit if you haven't already and it will be a regular visit for myself.

I wished I'd had enough room in my stomach to eat everything that we ordered! Of all the choices available to us in the food area.... This one was a no-brainer for us once we saw the delicious food and we did not regret our choice! I wish I'd had the courage to pick up that entire chicken and eat it with my bare hands LOL. Just kidding. My husband would have not been happy with me but it was so good. Juicy flavorful the mac and cheese mashed potatoes and corn was equally delicious! Thank you from Dallas Texas!!
The best oxtail grilled cheese sandwich youāre gonna find in the city. Definitely a must try if you have time. Itās in a full house so thereās a lot of different options there but definitely try to stop here if you get a chance. Staff is very helpful.

Oh. My. God. Fat Fowl was so worth the wait! Iād been wanting to try this spot for so long, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. We had the oxtail grilled cheese, black fried rice, chicken, and mac & cheese ā each dish was exceptional in its own way. But the chickenā¦ easily the winner for me. I have no idea how they get it that juicy and flavorful, with perfectly seasoned, crispy skin ā itās unreal! I honestly need the recipe because I donāt know how Iām supposed to live without eating this every day.

First and foremostā¦.The Oxtail Grilled Cheese was perfect and the rest of the food was pretty good as well. My only issue is that I drove about a hour and a half for their Oxtail w/ Mac&Cheese special, and was told it was unavailable because of the amount of oxtail needed for an order. Unfortunately I settled for the chicken and wasnāt too pleased with it because it was tough, under seasoned, but it was moist. The worst part is that when we were leaving we spotted someone with an Oxtail w/ Mac & Cheese special. Overall I wish we were told to wait a few minutes to be able to get what we originally wanted or better yet I would rather a warning that the may be running low on oxtails and I wouldāve saved some time.
