Finally checked out Fatima's Grill and wow, the fusion concept is super creative! Everything is halal and the portions are massive — we got the shawarma crunch wrap (basically a loaded Crunchwrap Supreme with tender chicken shawarma, fries, and sauces) and a Hot Cheetos asada burrito. The crunch wrap was fun and crunchy, with good spice, and the burrito had that bold, cheesy kick from the Cheetos dust — definitely unique and Instagram-worthy. Also tried the chicken over rice platter; the rice was flavorful and the chicken juicy, though I wish the overall seasoning was a bit stronger/more consistent across the dishes.

Fatima’s Grill in Coney Island is an absolute gem. I stopped in for the lamb over rice lunch special, and it was excellent from first bite to last. Bas, the gentleman at the counter, suggested I get it with the white hot sauce on top—what an outstanding recommendation. The lamb was tender and flavorful, the rice was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce pulled everything together with just the right amount of heat.
The meal also came with warm pita bread, crispy french fries, and a fresh, colorful salad, so it felt like a complete and satisfying plate, not just a quick bite. Between the delicious food, generous portions, and friendly service from Bas and the team, Fatima’s Grill has definitely become a must-visit spot for me in Coney Island. Highly recommend.
PS. Ha! I just sent pics to some friends in Jersey. I’ll be heading back to Fatima’s Grill for them today!!

I got the Chicken shawarma platter and the honey garlic chicken wings. The shawarma platter tasted like the marinade.. not properly cooked nor did it have great flavor. The chicken wings had more fat than it did meat. I gave this place a try due to high ratings on social media platforms but I am really disappointed.

Love this place so much. Love their Mexican food a lot the tacos, quesadillas, and burritos just name it. Everything here is a straight ten outta ten so far even though I haven’t tried the Mediterranean food yet such as shawarmas and what not. But once again their Mexican food is so good especially if you want 100% halal definitely come here at “Fatimas Grill”.
