Friendly staff and delicious coffee. Anytime a coffee shop has macchiatos and cortados (and oat milk) on their menu, it's almost guaranteed to be excellent quality coffee. Bonus points for their mission.

They have expensive bags that plug compassion and kindness, but which are made with leather. Not kind or compassionate at all. My hibiscus tea was very weak.

Wow! I'm super whack for not leaving a review as I've been enjoying their coffee for as long as they've been inside the Empire Stores. I've missed you ladies. They are always so warm and welcoming. I usually just come in for an iced latte, sometimes a pastry. I love their coffee. I even had my neighbor infatuated with them and then they randomly shut down again in June/July. Happy that you guys made it through.

My South African friend and American friend who lives in Australia both suggested this was THE PLACE to get THE BEST FLAT WHITE in NYC. I met them in Australia so I trusted their coffee opinions. I have yet to name a place #1 for coffee in NYC... I went in and ordered my flat white. It came without cafe art which made me wonder if it was going to be great BUT it was THE BEST. It's in a great location to get good photos (Brooklyn bridge), for tourist if you want to look at different things or if you want to go on a date and quickly pop in here for the best flat white. This area has many options and I truly recommend you try it! The place is very spacious and one girl was on her laptop and was even recording herself work on her laptop. My friend ordered pastries & she mentioned how the workers got some as well which means it must be really good, which acccording to my 3 friends they enjoyed the pastries. Apparently the gluten free salted peanut butter cookie is good...
