Filthy Diamond is a great Black Woman Owned bar with a great vibe. Owner is extremely friendly, accommodating and has great energy. The bartender was really cool and made really good drinks. The overall atmosphere of the bar was nice. Love the area with the old school Mrs. Pac Man and pin ball machines. It's a nice place to gather with friends for a drink or reserve for a party. It was my first time visiting, but will definitely be back.

The bar is located between apartments and it’s quite disrespectful that they play loud music until 2 to 4 in the morning on weekdays usually starts around eight or nine. Worse of all it’s not even good music. If they really cared about the community they are in.They would not play such loud music disturbing the neighbors and would host actually cool and quiet events.

This place is great! I live right down the street and it’s always a great place to pop into and unwind. Staff is friendly, especially the owner, she takes the time to get to know you. Good drinks, some snack offerings. Def a good place to pop in on any night of the week! Definitely recommend.

Support black women-owned businesses! The owner, Erin, has done a fantastic job with making this place cozy for the neighborhood. It's clean from top to bottom. The drink options are great and you can enjoy delicious beef patties and surprise chef pop ups. Tonight, I'm enjoying some Pinot Grigio and listening to live Jazz. If you're in the Bushwick area- this is a must stop!

Simply the best place to play chess and a little piano whilst relaxing

This bar is an absolute gem. The ambience is warm and inviting. It feels like a cozy living room with eggplant purple walls and wooden decor, but it’s not pretentious. The bar itself is the perfect size and there are a few lovely nooks you can squeeze yourself into for a game of chess or a hushed conversation. Then there’s the music. Dude, the MUSIC. The music is always fantastic. I'm a bit confused by the aggressive one-star reviews about noise. I like this bar because the music is consistently the perfect volume. I have some auditory issues and I typically find it very challenging to communicate in bars, but at the Filthy Diamond I have always been able to easily have conversations. Whether it's 7pm or 1am. (Also, side note: if you live in New York City, don't complain about noise. Move somewhere else.) The drinks are fairly priced and really delicious. The clientele is pretty diverse. Everyone I've seen is generally in their late 20s to late 30s, but within that age range, there are folks from all different backgrounds and walks of life. You'll always meet someone interesting if you're looking to talk to a stranger. And finally, the woman who owns the bar - she is honestly one of the best bar owners I've ever come across. She's professional, kind, and so chill. She has a super calming energy that really sets the scene for this place. You feel it as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend Filthy Diamond for all of your Brooklyn bar needs. You can go there to gab with the girls, have a quiet drink and read a book, or sit and chat with a new friend. When you go here you are supporting GOOD folk.

You guys always have been disrespectful to the residents and community you moved into. There are countless city complaints regarding your behavior and lack of respect when addressing neighbors who complain about the excess noise you produce and your patrons vandalizing neighboring properties. I don’t know what civil measures it’s going to take to resolve this problem. You will NOT continue to ignore us. And please don’t leave a snide response, I have proof of conversations with the manager and owner, where she told us that we would have to learn to “just deal with it”.

If I could give 0 stars for food and music I would. I don’t understand why this place is so overhyped. Between the mediocre food and weak drinks, I was already disappointed. The music was so loud I couldn’t even have a convo and catch up with my friend. Imagine how embarrassed I was after suggesting this place. It’s also very small inside so if you value your personal space while eating, this is definitely NOT the place. What a let down.

It's all apartments around this bar, above and on either side and you clowns are doing happy hour until 2am!? Would it be a huge inconvenience to *not* make it 55 decibels in our apartment at 12 am on a Tuesday morning?
