I ordered the catfish with shrimp and fries and asked them to fry it crispy. To my surprise they actually were able to fry it to a nice crisp that kept the fish from being burnt, the catfish is a big piece might be a bit too much but it’s definitely a nice meal to pick up omw home

Listen… whoever cooked my food at Fish and Amp Chips must’ve been fighting for their life in that kitchen, because everything on my plate was soft, sad, and completely unseasoned. The fish was so soggy it looked like it just got out of therapy, the shrimp tasted like they quit halfway through being shrimp, and the fries? Bro, those fries were one sprinkle of salt away from being packing peanuts.
I don’t know who decided to call this place It Ain’t Just Fish — but they were right. It’s also disappointment, regret, and a side of “why did I pay for this?” If they could just add a little seasoning — maybe a dash of ambition — they might have something. Until then, I’ll be seasoning my own tears after this meal.

recently ordered from them.Had fish and french fries. The fish was seriously mid and didn’t really blow my hair back small pieces of fish and they had no flavor. I find this kind of strange because these are the same people who owned Duncan‘s Fish on myrtle Avenue in Clinton Hill. their food is pretty good wasn’t excited about this. Don’t know if I would re-order.

Order fish&chips and when I receive my food the fish was not crispy but soft and the it what a beige color, I have to put it into my toaster oven and let the fish get crispy.I never had this problem before maybe it was a different cook so I will not buy on a Monday again
Horrible the fish is mushy like its been frozen and unfrozen multiple times and there was no flavor at all also over priced i wouldn't recommend‼️
