Hello I like the curry goat n oxtails here but the rice is not cooked..too hard. Also, please make sure the side ordered for each meal is correct.. last time I ordered 3 meals: two with plantains n one with cabbage and all three came with plantains. Please look at the orders carefully n don't assume. Thank you.

Fisherman’s cove literally forced my hand into writing this review because this is completely absurd! I had ordered a plate of oxtail with rice & peas, cabbage and plantain… it ran me a good $25! $25 for dry/hard plantains and hard, undercooked, not cleaned/skinned properly oxtail! I was very hungry and by time I was nearly finished with my food I was super disgusted with what I had seen. As I was eating, I noticed the oxtail did have an off taste to it, kind of like they just had an off day tho. It just wasn’t as good as the other locations. The oxtail was hard and chewy but I had just spent $25 and was very hungry so I still ate it. I also wasn’t able to take the food back since I was already at good distance away from the location. I thought my eyes were deceiving me and couldn’t help but to bring up all the food I had just ate 🤮 $25 out the window. I almost ate a hairy piece of oxtail and it just proved to me that from the beginning I wasn’t going crazy. It did have an off taste, it was too hard and chewy and it just wasn’t cooked correctly. Here’s what I was left with from this location. If you’re thinking about trying this place.. DONT! Skip this location unless you want undercooked hairy meat.

12/09/24 @ 6:30pm. Was raining. Stopped and got some chicken soup. Got in my car and drove about 4 miles home. Took out soup. By this the cover looked a bit puffy. Opened the souup and it made a big 'puff'as if air was coming put. Took one look at it and there was a lot of froth on the top. Was soooo disappointed. I jumped back in my car and brought back the soup.Told them to stop selling spoiled soup. Didn't even wait for my money back. Just wanted to get out of that so-called restaurant 😔. Can you imagine that. Never again.

How yall run out of Oxtail gravy and Jerk sauce and it's 5 PM I'm so angry I came all.the way from bedstuy. On Uber yall don't put Oxtail gravy as a option. Like I want to eat BBQ chicken get yall inventory together.

This fisherman cove location simply has the worst customer service I've ever encountered. I normally go to the Fisherman Cove on Flatbush and Nostrand. But needed the L train, I figured I could get my lunch from this location. I will simply stick to the location on Flatbush Ave. The customer service is simply not good. The staff at this location is very unpleasant and are Abrasive like a rusty brillo pad. The gentleman that package my food was nasty and Abrasive. I use to eat at Fisherman Cove 3 times a week... I've simply stop going. I have now go like once every 6 months and that's if I'm not close to anyone Jamaican restaurant.

Food is inconsistent, ordered oxtails n it seems as tho they rushed the food, the oxtail meat was very tough n so were the peas in the rice imagine payin 25$ for oxtail and its bare bone missing the meat, highly disappointed.

Tasty jerk chicken. Decent sized portions and reasonably priced
Parking: On a busy road so it's hard to find parking, unless you use the Municipal lot near the train station.
When I lived in BK I would patronize Fisherman. However on my recent visit the jerk chicken was tasteless and extremely dry. It’s like it was overcooked or left overs. Such a disappointment for $14.00. Definitely will take my business elsewhere.

The food was on point well done crispy delicious excellent. I had to go off on the chef and curse amount in a good way for making such a great meal Also, the service was excellent. The only advice would say is if your skinny try not to get a medium, it’ll fill you up with an only a few bites. lol

I have frequented this spot a few times, and the food choices have always been good. My go-to meals are the brown stew chicken or curry chicken. The restaurant is a take out spot. Prices are fair and reasonable to other local spots. Unfortunately?? the customer service could use some improvement. No one greeted me when I walked in. I was ignored by the young lady cleaning near the food while the cashier just looked at me with a smug look on hey gave, unreal. Honey. with this type of service, I just knew my meal was going to be delicious, and it was, lol.My food was hot. fresh and nicely seasoned. I ate everything on my plate. I was shocked by all of the past negative reviews. The poor customer service won't stop me from ordering food again since it's take out. However, staff have to do better when dealing with the public.

I must say that there has been a great improvement (I had stop supporting) on the taste and appearance of the jerk chicken (that's the only thing I buy) so much so that I told them in the restaurant and even friends and family; Yeah man!I stay away from 'big legs' #harmone.Now...Size is good and has a nice clean taste? Some places add oil to their chicken when seasoning, which is not healthy; here they don't (I asked so I know).Both the lady at the register and the brethren who served me were nice!We attract what we put out!This is my neighborhood; I speak Blessings upon this business and all who support it.
