So I have been eating here for about a few months. The food taste amazing. However there is an inconsistency in the amount of food you receive. Some workers will add 4 scoops of curry chicken, and some will add 5 or 6 if you’re also Caribbean. My issue is multiple times they have added things to my food I didn’t not request.

I think I am done eating here as although the food is delicious, the inconsistent serving sizes and workers attitudes just turns me away.

Title: A Culinary Delight: Oxtails, Rice, and Peas at its FinestThe dining experience was nothing short of amazing. The oxtails served with rice and peas, accompanied by flavorful cabbage, was a big win in every aspect. Each bite was bursting with rich, savory flavors that left a lasting impression. Moreover, the customer service exceeded expectations, with staff members going above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit. Every dish was served with a genuine smile, adding to the overall warmth of the experience. Without a doubt, This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking exceptional food paired with exceptional service.

The food was good! I ordered the escovich fish and a jerk chicken dinner. The food was fresh and full of flavor; I will be back.

Ugh I hate that I have to write this but they should be ashamed of themselves. So I’ve had Fisherman’s Cove before at the other location on Utica and it was bomb! This time I tried this location because it was closer to the area I was in. My partner and I ordered oxtails, jerk chicken and curry chicken. There was no flavor whatsoever! The plantains were old, dry, and burnt. The texture of it was even bad. I just know it was sitting out all day. The curry chicken only tasted like curry powder and had no additional seasoning or flavor to it. We took one bite and couldn’t eat anymore of it. I do not recommend coming to this location.

It wasn't that bad. I got their fried chicken and rice with beans for <$9. Service was ok... they just did what they had to do.

Parking: Parking is very difficult! It is located on a very busy corner with traffic, train entrances, stores, and bus stops. One may find parking on a side street (in the residential areas) or if lucky near paid areas. There is a paid parking garage further down the street.

Yes, Fisherman's Coves is the best Jamaican restaurant in Brooklyn, but I must edit my review from 10 years ago to 2 years ago. I used to love going to my favorite Jamaican restaurant to eat for my birthday Fisherman's cove at the Junction a 22.00 oxtail, peas & rice with cabbage and plantains plate. There is always plenty of peas & and rice, and there were enough oxtails for me to eat twice, and that's along with sharing with my daughter. So, 2 years ago, the amount of oxtails was extra small for 22.00 dollars they mine as well just put the oxtails in the small section because that's how much they gave me. I called the restaurant and spoke to the lady who was taking the orders. She said that I could come back and they'll fix it. I thanked her but told her no thank you because I was back home. I feel like this give people what they are paying for and don't cheat them, 22.00 is a lot. I ordered 3 plates, a jerk dinner, and a small oxtail dinner. I could have gotten the items and cooked the same dinner for myself, but I wanted a day off of cooking as it was my Birthday dinner! So, I haven't been back since then. I know that it won't hurt their pockets, and neither will it hurt mine. I just make my own oxtails, peas & rice, cabbage, and plantains costing less.

Avoid this one location. They proudly stated to a lady front of me "our patties always look brunt". I walked out. Not going back.

It pains me to even post this because I love fisherman's cove on Flatbush but this one....they need customer service training. I came in looking to order a large order of different items for a family. Nothing crazy maybe enough for 4 or 5. I told them I just wanted the rice packed separately so the gravy doesn't make it soggy! They said we can't pack it separately. I told them I'd pay extra for whatever is necessary to make it happen. So basically they walked away from a $100 order. But it's ok...Patty Hut down the block accepted my order and packed everything nicely with no hesitation. I would hate to see this business sink because of bad decisions that causes them to lose money.

The service for me was lousy.I paid for 2 Escovitch Fish & was given one.I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not.Hope they are not in the business of robbing ppl!!!Not a Good Look.I will NEVER return nor anyone that I know...

Dry chicken. Was unable to chew it even after using the j*** sauce.
