Delicious freshly cooked fish and half a chicken perfectly spiced over cabbage, rice with peas and carrots. The ox tail is so fresh, none of their meat or fish has been sitting in the freezer for days, and that can be easily seen by the amount of business they have. Fresh clean delicious and hearty food. I don't have any other Caribbean food to compare it too, but fresh food for these prices!

Saw the sign for halal Caribbean and I had to give this place a try. I was not disappointed. I got the fried rice and bbq chicken. The rice was good and the bbq chicken was to die for! I'm usually not a fan of baked chicken, but this was the best bake chicken I've had in a while. The marinade was wonderful. My friend got the fried chicken and j*** chicken. She loved her meal as well. I definitely recommend this restaurant if you're in the area. If you're looking for halal Caribbean, this place definitely has a genuinely Caribbean feel!

Wrong description and images. This is Jamaican food only. 1 star for rude employee, upon my asking, what type of food they serve.

Tried this tiny little place while in the area looking for a quick bite. There are literally hundreds of Caribbean restaurants in the area but we just chose this one since it was brightly lit and didn't have a huge line. They had a nice selection of (halal) Carib classics such as oxtail and curry chicken. I wanted to try their cow foot soup (one of my favorites) bit didn't have time. We settled on 2 beef patties and a side of sweet plantain. We also got 2 ginger beers to drink. I was hoping they would serve some trini items as I was in the mood for doubles, but no such luck. They also didn't have chicken patties, only beef, which was disappointing since I wanted to try some different items. The patties were good, large and flavorful and flaky. The plantains were a little dry but the flavor was good and you get a good amount. Altogether the whole thing was $9.00. Great deal! Service was good too, they were very friendly and answered all my questions. I would definitely go there again, especially since I would love to try their advertised bake and saltfish, but they only offer it for breakfast. PS I also agree with a previous yelper that the area is a little rough especially after dark, but There are loads of people around so we felt pretty comfortable.

We came here on a late night few days ago because we were craving Caribbean food. We needed it to be halal and we're so glad we found this spot! We took our food to go and he really stuffed the packet, he had to seran wrap to hold it together. I got j*** chicken, w rice and beans, cabbage and some plantains - my fave combo. It was super delicious and one of the most affordable places I've been to.

I came across this relatively unassuming unpretentious hole in the wall, in search of chicken soup. I needed to feed some to my hungry companion who longed for some good home cooking. Little did I know that they had the same exact Jamaican pumpkin chicken soup that my friend remembered from back home. The soup was exactly as his mom used to make. I had a delicious, reasonably priced serving of beef stew, myself. I say give it a try.
