Our first time here! I’m pleasantly surprised- food was great. The drinks were awesome too!

Well having just finished eating here, Its time to leave a review.

Let's start with the service. I got here at 6pm on a Thursday and it was dead, no one at the host stand, staff just hanging out at the kitchen window. The person who ended up seating me, turned, looked at me, rolled her eyes and then walked up and asked if I was all set. I let her know that no, I'm not. I'd like a table please. Ok, we've all had bad days, I get it. It's hard having a customer facing job.

Then the server comes and his fake laid back attitude, asked me if I've been here before (I've not been, it's my first time) and he just about verbatim tells me about Fletchers, like he's reading a script. Ok, no worries. I'm here for the bbq not the service, so I let it go, hoping he'll liven up as the meal goes on.

Now for the part y'all have been waiting for, the food. I got the chopped brisket sandwich. A classic central Texas staple. The brisket is what I came for. So I tuck in to it, but first I eat the pickles. They're spicy bread and butter pickles, definitely not my jam. Ok, time for the brisket. It was decidedly ok. The only real stand out was the overwhelming smoke, no pepper notes at all. Ah well, I'm not in Texas anymore. Time to try the fries. They were absolutely covered in seasoning, that tastes like lays BBQ chips. Not what I expected, and if you told me that fries could taste like that I'd have been excited. But surprisingly it wasn't enjoyable on the waffle fries.

All in all, it's inoffensive BBQ, not terrible, not great. If your familiar with South Texas resteraunts, it's equivalent to Bill Millers. Keep your expectations low here and you won't be disappointed.

My friends and I went last night for dinner.
The steak frites was not cooked to the way he asked. It was overcooked. The waffle fries were cold.
I ordered the fish and chips but I substituted the waffle fries for onion rings. The fish was yummy however, the onion rings were super overcooked and so full of grease they were pretty gross.
And I didn't care for the coleslaw. It just had this off-putting taste.
I don't know what they did with the old pickles they used to have, but the ones they had last night were so super sour.
We have been going to Fletcher's for some time, and this by far was the worst we've experienced.

On Monday, my family was denied service by your bartender. She claimed that your establishment closes at 8 p.m., but our door sign, website, Instagram, and Google profiles all indicated otherwise. After being denied service and forced to find another place to eat, we noticed that other families were being seated. Initially, I didn’t think much of it, but now I believe we were discriminated against. I’m not sure what your bartender based her decision on. We were out to celebrate my son’s birthday, and it’s disappointing that your restaurant doesn’t have such a welcoming atmosphere.

We live in Enfield and went here for the first time last night. We dine out often and have a pretty good handle on what’s around. This is the best dining experience we’ve had from top to bottom in like a 30 mile radius. A few key things we LOVED: *the food was dynamite. Took the server’s suggestion and got the burnt ends as an app. Five stars. Our meals were timely and delicious. I got the filet, she got the brisket. *friendly and attentive staff. Let’s be honest, not an easy find in 2025. *was not what we expected in a bbq place. I’ve been to many that really hammer down on the honky tonk vibe. That’s tolerable and expected, but not necessarily my thing. This place was refreshing. I absolutely will return and plan to turn more people onto this place. They had my wife using words she never uses to describe how good the food was! lol that says something.

We ordered takeout tonight. We paid after delivery, top, etc $111. My boyfriend called to ask if BBQ platter would feed 3 people. The guy who answered said we got enough meat, but said we may want a side order. I ordered the $7 Mac and cheese along with appetizer, burnt ends which was $19. The meat was plenty for 3 people, the sides were enough for one. One slice of cornvread and 1/2 pint size of sides. The side of Mac and cheese was 1/2 pint size and the burnt ends had about 9 pieces. We were disappointed to say the least.

Update:
Last week, we stopped by Fletchers to sample their new menu, and I have to say, it was a mixed bag. While the food was once again a bit too salty—something they need to address for health reasons—I’m pleased to note that the service has taken a turn for the better! Zack stood out and made sure we were well taken care of.

Overall, it was a decent experience with some tasty dishes.

The smell of BBQ from a block away drew me to this place! I ordered a chicken breast, ribs and mac n cheese while my friends ordered some brisket (which was delicious!). My chicken and ribs were well seasoned. I'm only giving this place 3 stars because I was a little disappointed with their mac n cheese. It was missing flavor. Besides that, the staff was very nice and patient.

Portions were quite large with nice presentations. Szechuan burnt ends were delicious with such a unique, flavorful glaze. Reuben and pulled pork sandwiches were excellent. The crispy fried catfish on cheesy grits was very crispy and juicy, but the grits had quite a few lumps. Service was lacking. Our appetizer plates and serving platter were never cleared. Improvements I suggest are to fill water glasses all the way up, not just halfway, ice would be nice too, and put salt and pepper shakers on the tables.

Worst BBQ I've ever had. If you want ACTUAL BBQ, go to Tavern on the Hill in Easthampton. Fletcher can go back to where they came from and begin at the drawing board. I just spent nearly $100 on dry chicken, greasy pulled pork, waffle frie crumbs, the most bland mac and cheese and the world's smallest slice of chocolate cake that they charged me $12 for all on its own. The portions were tiny and the prices are large. I'm disgusted. Not just at the quality of food but just the fact that they deemed my order to even be acceptable to leave their kitchen. Save your money and do not bother spending it here.

My glass was dirty with crud floating in my water we waited about 40 minutes for our food and my girlfriends food was rock hard same as mine They messed up my order I orderd the hot mess with brisket they gave me chicken. The server knew that they messed up because the cook told her and they did nothing about it and acted shocked that we sent it back thankfully we didn’t have to pay for it that was cool but terrible experience

I’m sorry. The whole menu was over seasoned and salty. It’s my 4th time there. Good service and place tho.
