Last night was our first time at Flora and we were so well guided by the waiter and waitress. The food was incredible. It was such a nice taste of Italy. They were so accommodating and kind. Great recommendations. We will be back :)

Weekday ~6:00; not crowded, good atmosphere and quiet. Tasting menu is good for light eaters and enjoyed immensely. Salads unique and refreshing, but be wary as pasta positions are small when off tasting menu. High quality and unique pasta dishes. Tasting menu for those who are hungry will require two orders. One order and a split salad perfect for light eaters.

Absolutely loved Flora! 👩🍳🤌Everything’s fresh and feels authentically Southern Italian. They were able to accommodate vegan requests. The atmosphere was relaxed. I’ll definitely be back soon for the legendary fusilli di Felitto… who thought you could find it in Brooklyn?!

Feels like a slice of Italy in Park Slope. Interesting menu with great wine list that stands out from other Italian spots. Super fresh ingredients that don’t make you feel gross after eating. Owners actively run the spot so you know it’s good.

Had high hopes and did not live up to expectations.
Very expensive for basic and not very good Italian food. Way better options for a better price in the area.

Great food and service. Truly authentic southern Italian food and fresh flavors. All the pastas were amazing. The pot roast was so flavorful and the eggplant parm was so delicious. Can’t go wrong with any pasta or entree.

We stumbled upon Flora while walking through Brooklyn and a friend that lives in the City warmly suggested to go as a Must. …OK, wow! This is not your average Italian-American restaurant , it’s the real thing, with flavours that speak of sun, sea, and old countryside kitchens. We shared the octopus and a handmade ravioli with ricotta and lemon zest that still makes us smile. Service was impeccable, and the wine list had some beautiful surprises. Grazie mille for a magical night!

Eating at Flora is like crossing the threshold and finding yourself in Southern Italy. Every dish brings the flavors and stories of the Cilento region to New York in a way that is so unexpected and different. Standouts: the bruschetta (four inventive options, my favorite is the burrata with half-dried cherry tomatoes and mortadella), the burrata Cilentana (think of the best burrata you ever had, then imagine something 10x more flavorful), the fusilli with special imported tomatoes from the volcanic soil around Mt. Vesuvius (just 3 ingredients, but an explosion of flavor), the Neapolitan-style octopus, and desserts flown in from Sal De Riso on the Amalfi Coast. I just tried the summer menu (pictured here) and enjoyed the classic spaghetti and clams and the paccheri with colatura. The menu tastes like summer in Italy. No matter what you order here, you can't go wrong.
