Fonda was a magnificent dining experience! The food was so good and well priced. The guacamole is divine. The staff was relatively easy going. The scenery was very exciting and lively! 100% recommend for a night out ;)
My favorite brunch spot. I normally skip brunch in Brooklyn because the drinks are weak and I end up paying $50 for a breakfast I could make at home. But Fonda is the exception. It’s consistent, delicious and the service is great every time. Their brunch deal cannot be beat. Three delicious (strong) cocktails and an entree for $39. As long time patrons, this visit was disappointing. The wine we were served was not from the same vintner as shown on the menu which we specifically ordered because we had it previously and loved it. The waiter opened it before we could point this out and the wine was far inferior to what we believed we had ordered. The crab croquettes tasted frozen and more of the filler and less of crab.
