The quality of this restaurant has noticeably declined over the past few months, but my most recent experience was by far the worst.
On Friday, January 16th, I ordered oxtail along with codfish cakes, chicken spring rolls, and the spring roll sampler. I ate the codfish cakes and a small portion of the oxtail, and within a few hours I began experiencing severe stomach cramps and bloating. This quickly progressed into nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. It became clear that I had food poisoning.
I don’t know how long the oxtail had been sitting out or whether it was held at a safe temperature, but this was one of the worst cases of food poisoning I’ve ever experienced. I was extremely lethargic and, three days later, I am still recovering. It’s alarming to think that food may be cooked ahead of time and left sitting out for extended periods without proper temperature control.
This isn’t the first disappointing experience I’ve had here. A few weeks ago, I ordered white rice and curry goat in person, and it was the worst curry goat I’ve ever had. The meat was poorly seasoned, tough, undercooked, and not tender at all. It looked as though curry seasoning had simply been sprinkled on rather than properly cooked into the dish.
Between the poor food quality and this recent food poisoning incident, I am extremely disappointed. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again, and I feel it’s important to warn others who may be considering ordering from here.

Much respect to Footprints on Flatbush ave, amazing staff. We placed our Christmas catering order and we forgot one dish, but they met us halfway in Queens to bring us the tray. I would recommend and tell everyone about their exceptional service they provided me with and wonderful staff.

Very disappointed, horrible, spent almost $60 for burnt coconut shrimp, salty shrimp Alfredo, and under cooked fritters! It’s to to. Jamie your cooking oil l! Food should be golden brown, not burnt!

Rasta pasta 4/10 . I ordered my rasta pasta specifically with light sauce and they drowned my pasta in sauce like soup . Requested for my money back or for my order to be made over and they refused since it was an ubereats order . Uber isn’t giving me a refund and they couldn’t even accommodate making my food over. Never again!

I ordered fried chicken wings this evening because previously I ordered grilled shrimp with rasta pasta which was excellent but tonight I don't know who was the cook but these wings is horrible so I know what I will not be ordering ever again

Food is great and all but just order delivery if you ever want to eat here. The wait time for an in store order is crazy and I’ve never see a restaurant prioritizing deliveries more than people in the store, so don’t even waste your time unless you have some to waste

Footprints Express is a great place to grab a bite. They offer a variety of menu specials to help you save money. The prices are reasonable, and the food is usually of good quality. The staff is friendly and attentive, even though it can get busy inside. There’s usually enough seating to avoid feeling cramped. The restaurant is always busy with delivery drivers, so the food is always moving. The only downside is that I’ve had issues with delivery orders. Overall, Footprints Express is a pretty decent chain. They have vegetarian options, so if you’re in the area, stop in and grab something to eat.

Took an impromptu trip here today as the original location at one point in time was my favorite place. I really wish I kept it as a distant but pleasant memory. This service was so horrible. The cashier acted as if he was doing me a favor by taking my order. When you walk inside, all of the lights are off you don’t even know if the restaurant is open or closed. Prices are not reasonable. Nor was the food good which was so disappointing. In the past I absolutely loved the food. The quality has definitely gone down.
