It’s a great themed cafe, good space and the records and a really nice touch. One of the best atmosphere creators for sure. The coffee was broadly average. I got a 7.8 cortado, it had some flavour and nothing offensive in the beans. Overall, nice place.

For The Record is definetly one of my go-to recommendations in Greenpoint. The vibes and music (keep your Shazam app ready) are always amazing. On top of that, the owner Lucas is great and an absolute gem in the community - he’s been a huge supporter of local businesses and artists and For The Record hosted an art exhibition for a local art group I’m in, and markets with local businesses. Cant recommend enough!!

Love this spot and spend lots of time here. GREAT coffee, good pastries and an even better atmosphere. Lots of seating/space and natural light! I love working here (they have a printer). Oh, and tons of RECORDS to dig through, with a nice variety of newer releases upfront (+ a listening station). Occasionally hosting shows and events and a weekly chess night. Worth a visit if you're in the neighborhood!
Came here for a record listening party and it was perfectly set up. Lucas did a great job. The food/drinks were great, the store was extremely clean, the vibe was chill. Can’t wait to come back here for a coffee or event!
