Made reservations for my wife's birthday. She couldnt eat anything raw. Figure the duck for 2 is a good idea to cover that. We were seated right away in the private dining area. Great if you hate the noisy main dining room. They impressed us on the squash bombolone and sourdough bread with lard. We only called for the suckling pig pasta since we getting a big entree to share. The biggest disappointment would be the suckling pig. I just feel like the pork wasn't highlighted well. Just taste like a pork dumpling with a nice sauce. Probably the clam pasta would be better. The duck came and was amazing. Nicely roasted and pink. The nice sheened sauce goes very well. The sopprressata jam compliments the duck. Parsnip puree as a side was great. I would hope the duck was roasted a minute more just to have a better crispy skin and less chewier sinew parts. Once you go toward the middle pieces, is not as tender. Nevertheless, flavors were hitting the right spots. The desserts were great. The pumpkin cake with cinnamon cream really impressed us and was the birthday cake. I feel like this place needs to give an amuse bouche to get us going. Although, some dishes were great and the main course was as well, it feels underwhelming.

I’ve been meaning to come to this restaurant since it opened and last night we finally had the chance to dine. This is a strong flavored restaurant! Every bite packs a punch and it isn’t always one you will expect. I had a really beautiful evening jolly pretending to be a food critic and work out what the flavors were. It was a great evening.
I loved the two pastas we had (the bucatini and the duck paparadelle)
Loved the canard au limon dessert. And obviously you can’t go there without getting the duck main to share.
I think we had duck five ways and loved them all :)

Meh. Wouldn’t come back here. This place is overrated. Ordered several dishes including soufflé cakes, foie gras canele, honeynut squash bomboloni, bucatini and some others. All of the ones I just listed, I wouldn’t order again 😬 Bucatini is indeed a basic pasta but for $28 wow it was extremely underwhelming. The food overall is pretty salty, which looking at the other reviews I realized wasn’t a one off experience. Also some, not all, of the staff I found were not very friendly. This place wasn’t giving Michelin to me. Save your coins.

In photography technical aspects:
The shoot was conducted using Sony professional full-frame camera paired with Zeiss Pro 50mm f/1.4 lens, delivering exceptional sharpness, tonal depth, and natural color rendition.

No external lighting was employed, as I wished to honor and preserve the restaurant’s original lighting design and ambience, which are integral to its visual and experiential character.

Inquire additionally alternate lighting arrangements or incorporate supplementary equipment such as tripods, reflectors, or controlled illumination, I have all the necessary tools available. In that case, I can coordinate a dedicated session to plan and execute the refined setup.

As a gentle reminder:
The pricing adheres to New York City’s professional standards for culinary photography, encompassing projects exceeding over hundred images, senior-level photographer, and designer hourly rates. My approach extends beyond documentation to include aesthetic direction and on-site visual refinement, ensuring that each composition aligns with the restaurant’s culinary philosophy and visual identity.

All pricing and process details are fully transparent and may be shared in advance of the engagement.

Not wowed. Just fine across the board for this price point. Food was a little heavy on the salt.

Amazing!!! Best meal I've had in NYC in awhile. Hard to choose a favorite menu item when all of our 11 dishes were each superb. Definitely get the foie canele and duck crown. Don't miss out on desserts, which were also amazing. For a tasty treat, get the NA drink, Solero. It's so good, I had 4. Service was super attentive and very friendly. Will 100% be back again.

The duck, the hole duck, ans nothing but the duck. Worth the train ride from however far you wisely decided to travel. Singular excellence justifies the $$$'s.

Had reservation but had to wait 15 mins after time we were meant to be seated. Waiter was not that helpful, and service overall was poor. Food was good.

We hosted our elopement dinner in the private room at Francie, and it was absolutely perfect. The setting was intimate and beautiful, the service was attentive without ever feeling overbearing, and the food was unforgettable. The pasta was rich and delicate, and the duck — their signature — was cooked to perfection and a true highlight of the evening. Francie made our celebration feel so special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

One of our favorite spots in New york! Impeccable service ! Some of the best pasta and appetizers in town! Duck bolognese and mortadella are to die for! And of course probably one of the best dry aged ducks in the country! The steak is amazing as well! Can’t wait to go back

Food: Appetizers (sourdough and souffle) were good not great. Pastas were excellent. Big letdown of the evening was the duck which was served lukewarm, tough, and without crispy skin. Not even a top 10 duck I've ever had.

Service: One of the most memorably rude waiters I've ever had.

Do not recommend.
