It was great!

There was a hair in our food. We also reserved a table, arrived on time and waited 20 minutes for it to be ready so just sat at the bar.

Good vibes and good food, me, my wife and some friends did dinner at French Louie, I personally am not the biggest fan of French cuisine, but the menu offers options for those who’s tastes aren’t as sophisticated. I had the cast iron roasted chicken and was 100% satisfied. French fries and sautéed Brussels were also top notch.

I'm not really big on French food, so I found the menu limited. Yet, it was delicious. The service was exceptionally good which makes a huge difference.

I came here for brunch and had the Eggs Louie which was pretty good. I switched out the poached eggs for eggs scrambled soft. The buttery croissant was the star of the meal for me. I also ordered the Creme Brûlée french toast. It was just ok, the texture was nice but the sweetness wasn’t there as much as I expected.

Had a very cute brunch here. The food was warm and delicious and the vibes were great. The restaurant is tight like a French cafe should be but clean and enjoyable.

To start off the lamb leg chop was very good, another reviewer states it was fatty but to my understanding that cut of lamb is usually pretty fatty but I thought it was cooked very well and tasty, if anything the salad that accompanied the steak dishes was heavily doused with dressing. I had an escargot appetizer not pictured as well and that was also quite tasty. For a French meal our group thought voerall the pricing was fair and on the lower side of usual French cuisines. Ambiance is very cozy and the backyard looked comfortable. The service was excellent and food all came out at the same time for our group. It's the little things that count for restaurants like these and it shows they care. Will come back again and try other things in the future.

A very lovely restaurant with great atmosphere and absolutely delicious food. The pappardelle’s sturdy yet supple noodles were divine. Highly recommend French Louie to anyone in Brooklyn or the surrounding area. Worth a visit for
