Stopped by this little Haitian spot in Brooklyn and overall had a solid experience. The service was okay, it took a little while for the food to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait. The food was delicious. I started with the vegetable soup, which was packed with flavor and really hit the spot. For my main, I had the Fritay with pork, and everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Would definitely go back for the food alone.
The venue is lovely, small, and intimate, perfect for a small group or a romantic dinner; the food is delicious. However, the staff's service could be improved. The wait times for food are excessive. It would be beneficial to have bilingual waitstaff who are friendly and proficient in both English and Creole, as not all patrons speak Creole. For private or special events, it would be preferable to have the tables fully set upon the guest's arrival, rather than setting...
