Food was really horrible. There's nowhere to sit. When you walk in it's hard to believe it's a restaurant. There's no one else there. And the fish was disgusting.Edit: The name recently changed, so I have a suspicion that some of the positive reviews are from when the restaurant was under different management.

Idk why ppl keep ranting and raving about this place. I tried it and it honestly was not worth the drive. The fish wasn't fresh, it's was tough. The service was terrible. Guy in the back acts like he's doing you a favor to let you come order food. There is no ambiance. It's a room with walls and a bunch of junk in one corner.

Another solid Guyanese establishment serving great food but without the fluff! Some people get turned off by restaurants with limited menus but I am often intrigued because my take is that the few things that they do make should be awesome. This is definitely the case with Fryer to the Buyer Fish Shop in East Flatbush! The fish options are fried Banga Mary and Shark. Feeling fancy or famished, you can add on fried Jumbo Shrimp. You can make it a combo by adding French Fries or Chips (fried green plantain). All of which is seasoned well without being overly salty and fried on demand to avoid being overly oily. You will have plenty of sauce options to choose from: traditional condiments plus Guyanese Pepper sauce which is provided sparingly upon request it is quite spicy; their Special Sauce which I recommend; Thai Chili sauce which I suspect is provided to counteract the heat of the Pepper sauce. If you're craving any of the above mentioned items then definitely stop in! You will be greeted with a smile and leave satisfied. Since there is no seating, I usually start eating my to-go order in the car. I recommend this way so the complimentary salad garnish doesn't wilt too much.
