The food, especially the lobster tails oreganata, was delicious and the service was better than excellent! It was a very elegant and special way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We sat quickly, but then waited 20-30 minutes to put our order in. Then it felt like we weren’t important to the staff, an afterthought. “Oh, sorry, could we bother you for another glass of water…?” We ordered a variety of antipasti - cozze were the only dish with a bit of flavor. The pizza then took another 20-30 minutes to come after the antipasti: the mushrooms on the sausage and mushroom pizza made the dough too soggy. Even the pepperoni seemed to just lack flavor....
This was our first time visiting this restaurant, and we were very excited given its long history. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not live up to our expectations. Overall, the service was pleasant, but slow. More disappointingly, the food was really subpar. The Caesar salad was drenched in dressing. The pasta dish we ordered, as a second course, was decent, although we specifically asked for one type of pasta and were given another. It was the entrées that were most disappointing....
