Ive been coming here since they first opened in the early 2000s when I was in my early 20s. Much of the neighborhood has changed since then, but Gen hasnt. The food and attention to detail is super high quality, and the price reasonable. Now we bring our children here, the next GEN-eration, and they love it as much as we do. Thank you, Gen!

My wife and I have lived in the neighborhood for years and this was our first time trying Gen. We had a wonderful time. The karage was amazing and the sushi was so fresh. Best part? We asked to take some of our mains home with us, we open the bag and there’s a surprise can of the Sake we ordered during our meal. Incredible experience, incredible staff. Can’t wait to come back for some more delicious Japanese food.

An old standby that is absolutely one of the best sushi restaurants in the neighborhood! Unbelievable and *affordable* omakase, low key some of the best ramen in BK, wonderful daily specials. Staff is incredibly nice. Don’t miss!
