Love their chicken! Most places make it super dry but here it's the best. Definitely recommend

Food is good for take out. Too bad the owner has no class. You will hear him yelling at his employees which some of them are family . Loudmouth type of guy who can be heard from across the street yelling and cursing.

Came here at noon. Was told to wait for 15 mins, never got it at the promised time. Someone who came after me but got his order before me while I was told to wait a bit longer. Asked the chef multiple times "How much longer?", "Wait as long as it's ready if you still want it, if not, we can serve you another time... Have a nice day!" For a moment I thought I was talking to a gangster. Obviously they don't want my business. Worst restaurant service in Brooklyn.

Got the beef/lamb gyro pita. Large portion and the pita was nice and fresh. Place is looking to sell its business, saw the sign on window.

Friendly service. Their famous gyro pita was massive. Tzatziki made with Greek yogurt and wasn't watered down...like some other places I've been to. The meat was tasty without being salty.
Love this place for takeout and delivery! everything is reasonably priced and you always get a lot of food. Staff is friendly and delivery is quick!

Great price and portion size! Will definitely comeback! Their platter for two people can easily feed 4 parties and their lemon potatoes are delicious.

I'm not sure how I'd never been to Georges before, but I'm so glad I found it. After neighborhood staple Spartan Souvlaki closed, there weren't many gyro and souvlaki options in Dyker Heights. Heaven forbid I walk all the way to Bay Ridge! Stopped in and ordered a gyro with the works (jye-roh, not yee-roh here, for the record). For under $10, it's 2 - maybe 3 - meals' worth of food. The thing is bigger than a burrito and about the size of a brick. The works includes tomatoes, lettuce, red onions, and tzatziki. Oh, and of course, generous heapings of gyro shavings. SO GOOD. I only ate 1/3 of it before tapping out (I'm on a diet after all). They're only doing takeout/delivery right now. The lady who took my order was super nice. Will definitely be returning! The "of Astoria" part of the name needs work though.
Had a gyro. It was delicious.
