On the plus side, the place is quite clean by New York standards, which is always appreciated. It’s spacious and filled with tables — though surprisingly, there is no table service. You have to order and pick up your food yourself, yet tips are still added to the check automatically, which felt a bit odd.

It was our first time at this restaurant. There was a wide variety of dishes, some, like the beef cake, were freshly prepared and baked to order. The food felt like home cooking, fresh and made with care. You can tell it's a family restaurant; they were very friendly and explained how to eat some dishes. It was incredibly delicious. We ordered khinkali, Adjarian khachapuri, pkhali, etc. This is the first Georgian cafe we tried in New York, I can say that absolutely all the food was tastier than in all the Georgian restaurants in the Bay Area and especially San Francisco. Thank you!
