Authentic guyanese food and this is comin from a woman born and raised in GT. The women who work here are always so nice and pleasant. I brought my non Guyanese friend here and they allowed her to sample some of the rice that she wanted to buy. They explained all the foods to her and didn’t seem annoyed by her questions. That’s great customer service !!! The portions are large and the price is reasonable. Now let’s get into the BALANJAY (eggplant). This gave me pure nostalgia. Reminds me of back home forreal. That roti and balanjay is the combo you didn’t know you needed. The BBQ chicken taste like it’s from the grill. The cook up rice taste good but I can’t lie, my GMA’s cook up taste better lol. The soup taste GREAT ! Pictured below is the balanjay (eggplant) & a piece of roti.

Amazing. Every dish achieves excellence. Restaurant staff are consistently observant. This place earned my sincere praise. The main drawback is the waiting time during busy periods.

The beef soup was tender and really good! They weren't cheap with the beef either. I ordered a large.
I ordered soup from them and they put the Juan soup and cardboard bowls, and of course, when I got it, the whole bottom was open the soup was everywhere You should use plastic containers

I ordered a meal from this place because I was really craving cow foot soup. I ordered it through Uber Eats, and the first issue was that the soup was spoiled and smelled terrible. The rice was just as bad — they tried to cover up the bad smell by putting tomatoes and lettuce on top. All of that for a total cost of $41. Businesses like this care more about making a sale than about the actual quality of the food they serve.
Chicken soup was not very good. The broth was overly sweet with an unpleasant aftertaste and the consistency was odd. The chicken did not taste fresh. The sorrel was bland. Tasted watered down and like it did not have any ginger.

Always forget to put the stuff you order with your uber eats order! No pepper sauce even after you instructed them to put it on the side!

I ordered a small veggie fried rice yesterday and my man ordered half fried rice half chow mein. We both have food poisoning. Crazy thing is this is the only thing we ate all day. I didn’t even finish my fried rice because I didn’t like it.
