When I say good? I mean it lord I had a dinner plate with fried whiting shrimp collard greens and Mac and let me tell you 10/10 I had a peach lemonade and a Banana pudding I’ll be back

The cook never changed his gloved from cooking to mopping in the bathroom to rinsing off collard greens..???. I almost threw up when I saw this.. wowwwww. Food was no flavor but the waiter was nice?

Saw them on instagram and it looked so good I had to take the drive from the bx and try it myself! It was so worth the trip! Catfish and shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection, Mac n cheese was soooo cheesy and fresh, could have used a little more salt but that’s a personal preference it was still very delicious! Collard greens were sooooo good! Definitely one of the best soul food spots I’ve had in nyc. 10/10 highly recommend! Will be back to try different dishes soon!

I bar and restaurant hop and this is by far one of my go to spots for some good soul food… the customer service is great and the food is amazing.. Honey chicken with the Mac and cheese and candied yams on the side is my favorite dish… But the whitening, and potato salad is great as well… If your looking for good eats in bk look no further!!!

Small business dishing out some really good fried fish! I would definitely recommend the fried catfish or fried whiting with french fries. The fried fish is crispy and flavorful l. The fries are seasoned too! The collard greens were okay. Yams tasted a bit too sweet. The fried catfish po boy needed some work. The fish was delicious. But, that bread was dry and crumby. There was lettuce stem in my sandwich. Aside from that, GG's serves some good fish and has amazing service. The workers are attentive and very friendly! Please go for some bomb fried fish and fries!!

We had a wonderful experience!! The fried Whiting was amazing and the half and half lemonade is delicious AND you get one free refill! The room itself is small , black&white space with a soda fountain type counter. The outdoor space is spacious with heaters and a big screen. A great black- owned establishment- we will be back indeed!!
