I took off 1 star on food since the fried chicken dinner is just 4 whole chicken wings. Which is weird since there are also wings on the menu. I thought it would be other pieces.
Besides that, the food was delicious and fresh. The greens and Mac hit. The fish was delicious. The wings were good but for the cost I prefer other pieces of chicken wings. I’d definitely come here again. Really want to try the brunch because that French Toast looked so good.

Phenomenal soul food in a tiny counter-serve spot by the projects. Best fried catfish I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, succulent and tender on the inside, in generous portions. I’m not usually big on collard greens, but these were so savory I surprised myself how fast I made them disappear. Elegant decor, efficient but attentive service, authentic vibes.

This is a must visit and enjoy. Amazing food, customer service and it's very clean. My sister and I loved it. She had the fried whiting with fries. I had the salmon and grits! Wow really delicious.

Came here on a weekend trip. I seen it on TikTok and wanted to try it and when I say great food and service the food was so good. The portions were huge and the gentleman that served us our food was very polite and welcoming. I would definitely recommend stopping here if you’re in the area.

Excellent Customer service we catered an event for NYPD for our Women's History Luncheon and it was beautiful and the food was sooooo good. Mike was the absolute best and got us everything we needed with very short notice we really appreciate him. I'm a customer for life.

The cook never changed his gloved from cooking to mopping in the bathroom to rinsing off collard greens..???. I almost threw up when I saw this.. wowwwww. Food was no flavor but the waiter was nice?

Saw them on instagram and it looked so good I had to take the drive from the bx and try it myself! It was so worth the trip! Catfish and shrimp were seasoned and fried to perfection, Mac n cheese was soooo cheesy and fresh, could have used a little more salt but that’s a personal preference it was still very delicious! Collard greens were sooooo good! Definitely one of the best soul food spots I’ve had in nyc. 10/10 highly recommend! Will be back to try different dishes soon!
