I’m disappointed, the pictures does not add up or maybe I’m just use to real Jamaica food and Caribbean food. This works for customers who don’t really know what the food supposed to taste like. The rice and pea doesn’t taste good, it’s like lefted over white rice mix with few peas. I had the macaroni salad as well. My friends and I always try the jerk chicken and curry chicken. It’s like pouring the bottle bbq sauce from the store. I’m so disappointed because base off the pictures, which people eat with their eyes but got to my friends house and it was a waste off our money. I couldn’t stomach I end up trashing it. I will never buy from here again but you will not know unless you try it for yourself; to each its own but be aware it may not be your authentic Jamaica tasting.

bad first impression. a tiny portion of food for $8 (lunch deal). and the shrimp lo mein which is what i wanted is, MADE TO ORDER. keep that in mind because i was disappointed asf. i think y’all should sell it in batches bc it looks like the best thing on the menu. anyways i think i’ll try the shrimp lo mein next time IF i decide to order again. overall 5/10.

I visit the restaurant once, again and then again. The restaurant caters for my daughter's Baby shower, we move to long Island.......yet here we are ?. Moral to the story is don't tell your daughters about your 1 place of peace & solace! Now I'm forced to share my secret Food away (food & hideaway)!
Ps: excuse the ribs I ate most of those while driving?. Take my word for it "EVERYTHING" at the shack is A+1!!!

The staff was so nice!!! Food was delicious. Curry goat has such a rich sauce. The rice was tasty. Macaroni salad addictive. The BBQ ribs had a nice bite!
I really enjoyed the food here. I had the brown stew chicken and it was cooked to perfection! Gravy delicious and rice was n peas, chefs kiss. ? The lunch special is super affordable and filling. I devoured it so fast I forgot to take a photo. Please try this place out!

?..... I found this spot with my daughter via social media (of course). I looked through all the reviews and " I STAND ON MY WORD" this Shrimp, Chicken LO MEIN is definitely underrated and deserves it flower! EVEN THE CHICKEN SOUP IS AMAZING! everything from the experience and the way the hostess takes your order with respect and knowledge is a vibe. I definitely had my fair share of horrible experiences with most Caribbean spots but this is definitely that 1 hidden gem! I Love this whole spot and will consistently pray for continuous success for them!
P.s: This is the one y'all!!! Trust me you will not be disappointed!
