Glatt Mart is one of those rare places where you can find everything a family could possibly need in one stop. The takeout section is top-notch, especially their perfectly prepared meats and incredible steak cuts. Their dips are delicious, their bakery offers a huge variety of challahs from different places, and everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is always warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making every visit easy and enjoyable. Shopping here is consistently a great experience.

First let me correct my last name . Ganz not Gunz. I am a senior who is handicapped with a heart condition. I have an aide that comes from 10:30 to 1:00 on Wednesday. My family has been buying at Glatt Mart for 40 years . I had the following experience yesterday. I usually put my order in on Monday so it can get done on Wednesday AM . I usually ask for the order to be done around 9:30. ( I was told that they started a new system) . Ruben who does my orders on Wednesday is a fantastic shopper. When I received no call from him by 10:30 I called Gena. She told me that Ruben would call between 10:30 to 10:45. . By 10;45 when i didn't receive a call from Ruben I called Gena again . She told me that Ruben finished my order but he couldn't call me because Mendy took him to so something else and she had no idea what time Ruben will call to review for any missing items etc. So there was my order in Limbo . I asked Gena for how long does she plan on doing this because my aide leaves at 1:00 and I just spent the day before at the medical center with a cardiologist who had me go thru 4 hours of testing on my heart. A few minutes later Ruben called and we took less than 5 minutes to discuss the missing items and those that he had question about . I told him to have the delivery guy bring it by 12:00 at the latest because my aid leaves and the cardiologist told me not to exert myself. My aide left so I called Meryl the owner and told her the situation . She called Thomas the delivery guy and called me back to tell me he coming soon. I did appreciate Meryls intervention but she excused Gena for the fiasco with my order by saying that the new system has a learning curve . Learning curve or not I still ended with a situation that was medically dangerous for me having to empty out groceries some were heavy all by myself total cost for my order was over $350.00. To top it off in the chaos they charged for a case of water which they didn't even deliver till the driver needed to go go back to the store to get. Thomas the driver by the way is good and did bring me the missing case of water . Today Thursday I just got off the phone with my cardiologist because I was having tingling sensation in my entire right arm hand and fingers. I feel that there was no need of hours of aggrevation over a grocery order. GLATT MART has very good workers and owners . As for Gena who I feel was the cause of this fiasco I feel could do better even if she had to deal with a new system . First listen to the customer who tells you the are a senior who had just been to a cardiologist the day before who has an aid for only several hours . Try to do a better job accommodating a customer who has been with the store for many years who spends thousands of dollars at the store yearly . I am very concerned of a repeat of what I experienced this past Wednesday I think Gena could do better. By the way my mother Z"L used to shop at Glatt Mart many years back.

In addition to things already mentioned Glatt Mart has an excellent fruit and vegetable section. I like their presentation and quality better than other stores in the neighborhood
