Best omekase this side of the East River! Delicious food, undeniably well prepared dishes, and Matthew was an incredible chef and proprietor, treating all patrons equally well with the best presentations and freshest seafood money can buy. Well worth the short travel time to get here; now it's a matter of convincing my wife to come with me every week. Parking is really easy too, given the municipal garage nearby.

Fresh and delicious! The service was personal and friendly. For the value, I believe this is a good omakase spot.

At first glance, it looks like an ordinary Japanese restaurant, but I ordered an omakase at the counter for less than $100. Grilled A5 wagyu beef, topped with foie gras, Hokkaido sea urchin gunkan, grilled fatty tuna with amberjack and caviar, lobster and scallop soup, and nigiri of red sea bream. The ingredients are very fresh, and the cost performance is so good that I think if this was served at other NY sushi restaurants, it would easily cost twice as much. It was probably a Chinese couple (I think), and it was a very pleasant reception. If I lived nearby, I would go there once a week. If possible, we recommend ordering at the counter. Please continue to do your best. Thank you for the meal.

One of the most wonderful sushi experiences in NYC! The A5 wagyu was so flavorful, tender, and torched. Highly recommend getting the wagyu over rice and the wagyu temaki (handroll), but eat the handroll right away for the crispy seaweed texture. My parents got the sashimi set and the waitress asked if they wanted to make any substitutions. My mom substituted the scallop for eel and loved it. Their scallop and fish are so soft and fresh. The sashimi was placed on a bed of microgreens. We can't wait to go back again. The waitress kept refilling our cups of green tea and remembered the particulars of our orders without writing anything down. So happy with the service and fantastic food.

Wow wow wow! Best omakase experience I've had in a long time. Went with a group of 7 and sat at the counter. There's the option to choose between Gohan Omakase ($90) or Premium Omakase ($70) along with $19 unlimited sake. I got the Gohan Omakase that also includes 3 seasonal appetizers. Everything that I ate here was nothing short of spectacular. If I could give them extra stars for their hospitality, I would! The chefs were very interactive with us even taking shots of sake here and there. Didn't feel rushed at all. Will definitely be coming back next season to try different appetizers.

Visited this husband and wife sushi boutique restaurant cafe after a round of golf on Saturday.
Order their $79 premium Omakase with $19 unlimited sake. Come with 11 pieces of sushi with each has unique flavoring complement to the fresh seafood.
This place may not be the Japanese master Omakase, but their servicing and food quality is as good as any Manhattan's Omakase on value.
Further, they serve hand pour coffee as a hobby, which is another plus ➕️.

The absolute best omakase. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. It is a family owned business that takes pride in quality in their product and genuine care for the customer. I have been to countless omakase restaurants all over Manhattan and this is by far my favorite out of any. Also right in my neighborhood so I don’t have to travel all the way to the city just to get some omakase. The best is right here in the neighborhood. Fairly prices and amazing quality !
