Ordered ackee and salt fish and it was the most disgusting thing ever š¤®. Bland and insipid. I wish I could give a 0 start. No Jamaican restaurant should mess up cooking the countryās national dish.

Letās just say if you don't eat certain things they will serve you how they want not what you are asking or your money is paying for !!!!! Rude

The worst Golden Krust Iāve ever been. Iāve heard nothing but bad things about this place especially the service. I ran in to buy a patty and it took me almost 30 minutes to get 1 patty. The cashiers weāre moving like they had cast on there legs while making jokes and laughing. As the line got longer they moved slower and just as it was long it became short because people walked out in disgust. So 10 went down to 5 instantly because the line just wasnāt moving. I wouldnāt patronize this place ever again.

I ordered the large oxtail with peas and rice on uber eats and when it arrived I could clearly see this was not a large, it was a medium or something else. I called and was told it was a large and it is sold in a larger size if I had come into the restaurant. I still don't understand the explanation given as to why online purchases are sold in smaller portions than in store purchases. 4 pieces of small oxtail in my dish...well I never. l will never order from here again. This place is a rip off!!!!!!!!!

I came to this establishment today around 1pm and my horrible experience compelled me to write a review. I was in a long line for about 25 minutes while the workers stood around in the front talking to each other about irrelevant gossip and paid no attention to the line or customers. I watched one worker behind the register speak to a customer very rude and unprofessional. I was charged $12 for a large soup when most restaurants charge 10. You'd think that the fact that golden crust is a dying restaurant chain and every month new restaurants are opening all over nyc that are carribean the workers would actually act like they care about the customers and their jobs but they don't. I will not return here with so many other options.
I went here during my lunch break today because I didnāt have time to cook my lunch night before. Unfortunately just as I was eating my last few bites I fely something peculiar as I was chewing. When I took it out, to my surprise it was a strand from a Brillo pad or one of those utensils for scrubbing pots. Very disappointed and disgusted. Iām just upset that I discovered this when I was nearly done with my plate. This was my second time here. Wonāt be coming here again.

Vegetarian options: You can order non-meat dishes like rice & peas white rice, steam veggies, plantains, vegetable patties, & possibly more. Call them & inquire.
Parking: On Ralph Ave - a lot of parking for many stores.

I was running late this morning and couldn't make breakfast, so I decided to go to Golden Krust on Ralph, because it is very close to my job. I wanted some Ackee and saltfish. Oh boy was I disappointed! The ackee and saltfish had no seasoning, no pepper. Certain dish need a little pepper, or and lemon to enhance the taste, such as ackee and saltfish. As a Jamaican I expect a Jamaican Restaurant to prepare good quality, tasting food. Ackee and saltfish is so easy to cook, not to mention it is Jamaica's National dish; Shame on you!!! Please do a little better.
