Weird I don't know why u serve people before me n I'come here first that's Weird

I ordered the large oxtail with peas and rice on uber eats and when it arrived I could clearly see this was not a large, it was a medium or something else. I called and was told it was a large and it is sold in a larger size if I had come into the restaurant. I still don't understand the explanation given as to why online purchases are sold in smaller portions than in store purchases. 4 pieces of small oxtail in my dish...well I never. l will never order from here again. This place is a rip off!!!!!!!!!

I came to this establishment today around 1pm and my horrible experience compelled me to write a review. I was in a long line for about 25 minutes while the workers stood around in the front talking to each other about irrelevant gossip and paid no attention to the line or customers. I watched one worker behind the register speak to a customer very rude and unprofessional. I was charged $12 for a large soup when most restaurants charge 10. You'd think that the fact that golden crust is a dying restaurant chain and every month new restaurants are opening all over nyc that are carribean the workers would actually act like they care about the customers and their jobs but they don't. I will not return here with so many other options.

I went here during my lunch break today because I didn’t have time to cook my lunch night before. Unfortunately just as I was eating my last few bites I fely something peculiar as I was chewing. When I took it out, to my surprise it was a strand from a Brillo pad or one of those utensils for scrubbing pots. Very disappointed and disgusted. I’m just upset that I discovered this when I was nearly done with my plate. This was my second time here. Won’t be coming here again.

Delicious food and nice staff when they know you...otherwise just fast speedy service.

Vegetarian options: You can order non-meat dishes like rice & peas white rice, steam veggies, plantains, vegetable patties, & possibly more. Call them & inquire.

Parking: On Ralph Ave - a lot of parking for many stores.

I was running late this morning and couldn't make breakfast, so I decided to go to Golden Krust on Ralph, because it is very close to my job. I wanted some Ackee and saltfish. Oh boy was I disappointed! The ackee and saltfish had no seasoning, no pepper. Certain dish need a little pepper, or and lemon to enhance the taste, such as ackee and saltfish. As a Jamaican I expect a Jamaican Restaurant to prepare good quality, tasting food. Ackee and saltfish is so easy to cook, not to mention it is Jamaica's National dish; Shame on you!!! Please do a little better.

The only reason I tolerated this place was because of the convenience of getting a patty for my son. I will from now on travel the other franchises. The last straw for me was them LOCKING the doors 45 mins before they closed, & laughing at me a paying customer for pulling on the door only to realize it was locked. I will NEVER support this location again.

Waited a while. They take my order then take other customers on line, then ask me to approach to just tell me wait over there. I waited and then gave them the rest of my order, and they act like I'm inconveniencing them , then they ask me to wait again. They served 8 customers because they don't know what they doin, at this point I realized it don't even smell like food in here. 4 patties and coco, and a large oxtail was 52bux!!! Oh and my patties were crushed. Should be copper krust

Made me wait over a hour on Uber Eats for 3 Beef Patties, Coco bread, and a small rice just to cancel a hour and a half before closing, trash establishment. Wasted my promotion as well.

I ordered a lg oxtail dinner which I paid 25$ for they are very cheap with the oxtails smh .they gave me little to no oxtail meat they made it look as if it was alot because of the bones and all the sauce the little bit of meat that was on the oxtail was very tough and tasteless they filled the majority of the pan with a whole bunch of rice with a dab of cabbage if you go to this place I would advise you not to order oxtails from there you will regret it ?

Beef patties were ok yet the beef inside looks like brown mush then actual meat but the fried chicken was a little cold and only had seasoning on the skin. Plus it was so oily couldn't believe it. I guess don't go to a west indian spot for fried chicken. You figure with the amount you pay here, they know what their doing.
