The food tasted old and reheated. The legume was watery and there was no meat in it just big pieces of bones. The plantains were cold soggy and also tasted not fresh. The diri kole was dirt . This Haitian spot is dirt. Would not recommend this place to anyone .

There is a light skin lady there who refused to give enough meat from the Flatland location. I was behind a customer who wanted a decent goats cutlets, she pretended that that she didn’t understand what the customer was asking. The customer and I pointed that out to her. She got mad, so When she got to me I asked for goats and griot, she purposely didn’t put enough griot for me.Their food are ok they give decent amount of rice but some employees in there like her, they act like they refused to give decent amount of meat. They’re picking tiny cuts of meat to put in the plate and they’re taking them off giving an illusion that they’re giving you decent amount of meat. Service is horrible, customer is horrible.

This restaurant provided great service when it first opened, since then there has been a serious decline. Either the lines are extremely long with few staff on hand or they run out of sides at their peak hours of sales and they have to be asked to replenish dishes that are near to the end of the pan. Additionally the customer service is poor. The ladies serving are not friendly-nor do they greet you. They behave as if questions or requests are a bother to them. With so many restaurants available I have decided that I will spend my money where I feel welcomed and appreciated to patronize one’s business.

Seems like every Haitian spot I go, the servers are upset that I don't speak their language then lace me with attitude. Can't speak on the food, as I only went because my friend requested the favor. What is the line system? So awkward. Price is $$$, $27 is way too much for rice goat and salad.

This was Haitian food at a very excellent level. The service was really good. Although, I am not sure if everyone was good at understanding English. It will be great if some signs are placed around the food offerings for the sake of persons who are not Haitians. The prices are very reasonable!Great work!Keep it up!

I love this Haitian restaurant and the food is so delicious. This is my family’s go to for authentic Haitian food. My last experience wasn’t too good though. The Tasso is usually good but this time I couldn’t even bite it and finished it it was too hard and not tender. The flavors were lacking. It costs more than the other meals so I hope it becomes consistent again with the taste. I wished they had macaroni and cheese every day but they didn’t have it that day. But overall the food is pretty good. In the legumes I rather seasoned cooked meat not smoked turkey because I don’t like smoked turkey in my legume.

Basically they're food is great but they are definitely racists against anyone that is not of Haitian descent if that was even a thing. But I'ma keep spending my money cause it's not like I live with them. I'm in and out. Food is so good. I might not be Haitian but I've been dating them for over 15 years and I understand and speak a lil Creole. I let them talk they're shii while I order in english. They overprice you on sauce and will say no to giving you extra macaroni and cheese. They will straight up deny you in buying another slice. Also they don't answer they're phones so even though it's listed as a catering service they don't really cater to you.Vegetarian options: Not heavy on vegetarian options but the fish is top notch and so is the rice and macaroni and cheese. The rest is definitely meat.Parking: No where to really park... Right next to a highschool, Minnie shopping area, and bus lanes.

Despite the satisfactory quality of the food, the service was severely lacking. The cashier, who wore glasses, displayed unnecessary rudeness when I inquired about their phone line always being unanswered. He dismissively replied that they were busy and rolled his eyes, despite the fact that there were 20 staff members present in the restaurant. Such behavior was completely uncalled for, especially coming from someone within your own culture. It's truly disappointing.

This is my favorite go to Haitian place. The food taste like someone’s grandma is in the back cheffing it up.They have a variety of options. I try to switch up what I get every time I go there but since there is such a language barrier I always get black rice, fried fish, and macaroni. Delicious .One thing I don’t like about this place is that they think everyone speaks/understands creole.THIS IS HOW TO ORDER:1. Walk in2. Go to wear the meats and stews are.3.If you don’t understand or speak creole just point to what you want.4.Walk over to the side where the rice is.5. Point to what rice you want.6. They are going to ask you if you want sos pwa.7. They are going to ask you if you want macaroni or salad.8. Plantains automatically come with your food.9. Then go home, kick your feet up and enjoy this delicious meal. It’s just that good.
