I can’t believe it took me so long to discover this place! I live a block away and never realized what a cute and cozy bar spot this was since it’s so inconspicuous from the outside. Great price on drinks for the neighborhood and the pernil buns were excellent—that’s coming from a Puerto Rican! Shout out to Lee, our bartender who took amazing care of us. Can’t wait to come back!

This was my first time in the Brooklyn area and the Gowanus Gardens was a great little nook to visit. Lee was a spectacular bartender who was personable, funny, and her playlist was amazing! Always great to have music that you love and know playing in the background. Between her bartending, music, and the March Madness games I could stay there all night!

Came with a Large group on a rainy saturday while they werent too busy, we stormed in 30 deep and inundated them immediately. As I sat down at the bar my GF and I looked over and saw the bartender busy taking and making drinks, we figured we'd have to wait a while, but after a breif period the bartemder appeared infront of us ready to take our order. No fighting to be seen. We ordered and the drinks were prepared as youd expect a professional bar tender would.Upon realizing they had food I asked if the kitchen was still open...at 1:18am...no shot right? Wrong! The kitchen was open and they had a pretty varied menu. I ordered wings and fries, classic bar food and the food was brought out shortly. The wings were hitting, fresh and crispy; fried well, the amount of bars that mess this up is astounding, But they HIT. The fries were crisp and delicious served with a nice chiptole mayo. Some of the best food I have had at a local sit down bar.Definitley worth a look and can absolutley handle a group.

I WISH I could remember the name of our bartender and server. We were here on Feb 19th. Flew in from DC and Daytona for work and ended up doing trivia. While we got 2nd to last place, we had amazing service from the bartender and server. I am so sorry I don’t remember their names! Give both of them a raise! Very hospitable. The food was fire as well. Server hot and flavorful…except the mushroom buns. They NEEDED SALT.

So I wish I had better things to say cause the girl who was bartending was sweet but other than that the food was terrible n the drink was expensive for a basic cocktail.I got out of a escape room kinda late and was hungry and wanted a drink n this was one of the only nearby options so I decided to give it a try but after 60$ for gross wings with no ranch only blue cheese, a bland quesadilla, one of the items we ordered came with fries and they were ultra greasy and alkr of them were overcooked so i couldnt bite into it cause they were rock hard and a cocktail that was alright but nothing to remember. Oh and asked for sprite and got something diet n disgusting instead.

Came here for a friend's birthday and we had a great time. We had a handful of different items off the menu and liked them all, especially the bacon wrapped, goat cheese stuffed pepperoncini bites. The indoor space was clean and well kept. The service was great and the backyard was awesome because it was a great mix between being inside and outside at the same time. We will definitely be back.
A classic neighborhood bar that’s open till late . Kitchen closes at 1am which is amazing if you like late night snacks . The quesadilla and the whiskey maple syrup wings are pretty good .Frozen piña colada is one of my favorites and staff is very friendly
First, Lee is an angel and may be the finest bartender in the five boroughs. Beyond that all I can provide is my honest reaction: I wanted to text my ex to invite her her so I could breakup again before she discovers this place because I want to keep her out as I am selfish and do not like to share nice things. There are a few great spots in this ‘hood and this stands out mostly because of the food and great staff. I wouldn’t even post this if I wasn’t about to move b/c as I said, I DO NOT LIKE TO SHARE MY FAV THINGS!
