A steak meal is very large and they don't have one for a single person but very nice also very expensive not worth the price but worth a visit
The waiter is really cute. At first they made me a steak with a lot of salt. I asked them to change it and the waiter did it right away

A nice, quiet establishment for Sunday night after Yom tov. The service was great, decor very nice and the music calm and quiet. We had a large group of 12, ranging in age from 5-70, but were seated quickly and served rapidly. Large bottles of (still) water were put on every table. There was a nice variety offered on the drinks menu. Almost every adult had at least one cocktail and the children had Shirley Temples so as to join in the fun. We had appetizers and they were quickly devoured along with the entrees which appeared very promptly.
Sadly, some items weren’t available but … Sunday. The two who asked for burgers would have preferred a little less “gourmet” touches such as the onion marmalade. But the portions were generous so it wasn’t a big deal.
We tried the dessert platter and it satisfied everyone. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Vegetarian options: I didn’t look for any, but I also didn’t see any when I scanned the menu.
Kid-friendliness: We had 3 children with us. We felt comfortable and all had a good time

Good food and service, but high price
We had a party for 25. We sat in their party room which is an enclosed patio. The place had a good vibe. Parking was a little rough. The appetizers were very flavorful. Though be ready for deep-fried everything. Even the salad was tasty. The cocktails were nice. When it comes to the mains, I want impressed. The steaks were too well done and not that tasty. The grilled chicken was meh. The dessert of cake with ice cream in top was ok. I would go back and stick with the apps.

Low-key key bar perfect for two people but instead I sat at the bar alone and chatted with the bartender who was super friendly. I got two drinks here.

We made sheva brochas on 12/31/23 My first time there. It was set up beautifully, clean and enough space for 35 people The food was outrageously delicious and plentiful service was great polite and very accommodating. You should all try it you will not regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of attending an engagement party at Gruit Restaurant in Crown Heights, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of spectacular. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. Gruit Restaurant takes the concept of a culinary journey to a whole new level. The menu is a meat lover's paradise, offering an array of delicacies that range from pastrami burgers to veal pizza. The variety of options was truly impressive, catering to every palate in the room. The pastrami burgers were a revelation—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Each bite was a symphony of tastes and textures that left me craving more. The veal pizza was another standout dish, showcasing the chef's mastery in combining unique flavors to create a pizza that was both indulgent and sophisticated. The attention to quality and freshness in the ingredients was apparent in every dish. It's evident that the chefs at Gruit Restaurant take pride in sourcing the finest ingredients to craft dishes that not only satisfy the taste buds but also leave a lasting impression.Although, I did not have a traditional sit down experience I will definitely come back to do so soon!

Way overpriced for pretty staple items. Chicken poppers and fingers were the only good thing on the meny. Steak was undercooked and border line rare when medium well was requested. Soda took 30 min to get. Not impressed overall and will not revisit this establishment.

I came this summer, everything was perfect ! The service was impeccable, we were served by Felix, he was very patient and took care of us as if we were the only ones in the restaurant, i wanted to order a cocktail which was not exactly on the menu, and he took the time for it, and it came out perfect ! Great food, all delicious, and great atmosphere !If you're willing to pay for a culinary experience you won't regret, i would definitely recommend you this place !
