This restaurant is horrible. I was staying at the holiday inn with my husband and 3 kids for surgery and we needed a hotel close to the surgery center with on site restaurant for conveniency. On the hotel’s website, it stated kids under 11 eat free at the restaurant, however, they did not honor this. Secondly, the food and service is horrendous! It took them 20 minutes to even take our order and with three kids traveling all morning, we were hoping to get our orders in not too long after being seated. This place definitely gives “racists vibes” because no one was pleasant and we didn’t get greeted upon entry, just was told “sit here”.With regards to the food, Everything was cheaply made and throwntogether—we ordered the scrambled eggs & cheese and they literally added government cheese slices that is the single packaged cheese onto the eggs which barely melted. My daughter ordered the kids mac&cheese and the noodles were hard and the cheese was the powdered cheese smh. The pancakes tasted like microwaved cardboard. We told the waiter and he didn’t seem to care at all. We barely ate any of the food and told them we were dissatisfied and our waiter still didn’t care. We asked to speak to the manager and none was available to speak to because he’s on vacation, smh $100+ bill and we didn’t eat hardly any of that food, it was so disgusting. We mentioned this to the hotel staff, and the only resolve to this was to speak to the restaurant manager when he returned who was on vacation. Please save your money and eat elsewhere. The food and service sucked so bad , I’m still mad about it.

The food is bland with no flavor and their accounting is wrong. I was charged taxes twice!!Go next door (as you are). They have a real chef that uses seasoning on their food.Owner (who is nice/ pleasant) offered to chat but I’m so disgusted I don’t even want to stop foot back in there. The lead server is not attentive and sits on his phone brings out your order wrong the lists goes on and on….This was a dinner party that cost upwards of $3k. Service was chaotic and underwhelming.

We spent 4 nights at the Holiday Inn after my daughter needed surgery. We were unfamiliar with the area so it was great to have a restaurant that served delicious food at great prices and welcoming hospitality. We never had to leave the hotel to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The Grand Canyon Bistro is a wondeful asset to the Holidays Inn on Schumerhorn in Brooklyn.

very odd vibes in here. The menu was insanely large and varied and it was so much to get through and also not cohesive at all. Our server was not very friendly and the food was extremely underseasoned.

Take a good look at the account. They charged me badly. After claiming it they gave me my money back.

Honestly I was super disappointed. They we're moderately busy nothing too crazy. I stood at the front waiting to be seated. 10 minutes go by and not a single person acknowledges me. Then I sit at the bar and still not even the bartender acknowledges me. Then a father and son enters and in less than 5 minutes they were acknowledged and told to go sit anywhere. I was just very disappointed and felt a tinge of prejudice. Wouldn't recommend.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and when our check came suddenly the prices on the menu was incorrect. Food was a 2/10. Don't come here.

Overcharged us for literally two eggs with a literal slice of cheese over it. Got charged $25 when the listed price on the menu was $12.75. Price on the menu for the orange juice $4.50. When the check came it was $8.50. Best believe I'm disputing this with my bank. Terrible food , terrible workers , terrible business

Not bad for a hotel restaurant. Wide variety of choices. Breakfast is decent with great sandwich options as well as omelets, pancakes, and other staples for breakfast. Dinner was decent. Had New York Strip and it was one of the best strips I had in years. Prices seem reasonable but watch the 18% service charge and 3% credit card charge. Little much. Wine was a little steep for a glass.
