This used to be one of my go to Chinese places to order from. Their prices have gone through the roof to the point where it’s unreasonable. Yesterday I ordered three dishes and it came out to be $65. One of the dishes was just noodles with minimum meat. You should’ve seen the portion it was laughable. They wouldn’t throw in fried rice, which was an extra $10.. Not only were they overpriced. They were hesitant to explain the breakdown of how my total came to be $65. won’t be ordering from here anymore. I’d rather make Chinese food at home or just go to Red Bowl for these prices. Sorry your quality is not that good.

Disappointed!
It was cold out so after a long drive we ordered 2 soups and wanted something light, didn't want to eat anything heavy for late dinner at 8:45pm. The other place closed early so first time here. My friend had the wonton soup which was ok, very small meat & wrap, not that good. Only half a bag of dry noodles. I had the tofu vegetable soup. I set the soup on top of the car dash to cool off cause it was very hot to the touch. I said to my friend, I don't see the vegetables but tofu on the bottom?! I wanted to return to the restaurant but we're far away already! Not happy with the veggies.. as I'm eating it, I can even count how many.. 3 piece flat snow peas that's soggy, several shreds of onions, several julienne match like cut cabbage, 3 piece very small thin cut mushroom- all sitting on the bottom with the tofu. That's all the vegetables in there! No wonder you can't see the veggies. Half on top is soup and too salty. Did they run out of vegetables? In this case, it's not like that commercial saying where's the beef? It's where's the veggies here? This type of veggies you see normally in a stir fry dish plate that's shredded, but in a soup? Are you kidding me charging $7.50 is much more than it's worth! Well it says vegetables, it can be any type of vegetable right?! But come on, we're not stupid patrons that can't tell the difference in quality and quantity served! I normally don't write reviews, but I had to let you know how upset I was. The only good thing about it was the temperature of the soups which was very hot. Extra stars cause my friend's soup was just ok, I would've given one star for my soup.

The portion of the food is huge and the taste is above average based on NYC standard. Didnt experience the poor service that was mentioned in other reviews. Good experience overall!

Authentic food. The most unfriendly and rude counter girl both eating in and on the phone. Beware—if you wish to be mistreated like you’re in the DMV, this is definitely the Szechuan restaurant to go to. If your family tends to take to respectful service—Sunset Park area has plethora of other authentic Szechuan establishments with genuine service.

The food was overall average in taste. I ordered the hot and sour soup. The soup was bland with not much flavor. The soup was a quart size and received a half bag of noodles. The steamed dumplings are typical of most takeout. The spring rolls were very small. The chicken dishes were limited in taste. The white rice was good.

When in the mood for Chinese food we’ll stop everything, pre-order, get in the car and drive here for pickup. Food is consistently delicious with bold flavors that will crush any cravings. The offerings are plentiful ranging from simple to spicy to some really authentic stuff which I will at some point try.Although I’ve never eaten in, the restaurant is quiet and perfectly suited for sit down.FUN FACT - they only take Visa and cash.

My brother who was in China for a while found this place for us and we ordered a bunch of different dishes. Amazingly delicious food! It was hot and fresh and seemed good quality. I had the sour cabbage and chicken, and it was delicious!

Obviously atmosphere and service are graded on a hole-in-the-wall curve. But the food doesn't need any caveats. Gotta order from the Sichuan menu: tea-smoked duck is as good as any duck anywhere, pumpkin soup, mapo fish, tripe, hotpot, lamb are all great. From Am-Asian standards, scallion pancake (eat immediately!) and vegetable chow fun are fantastic. It's mostly beautifully presented too. Maybe this place'll never have lines out the door, but it deserves to.

Can't believe there's a Sichuan restaurant in Bay Ridge. This restaurant is amazing! Try the red cooked pork belly and the dan dan noodles. I can't recommend this place enough!

Terrible service, rude staff. Also the closing time is incorrect. They close at 10 not 10:30.
