Who wouldn't know this classic bakery, I love their pastries! I order the fruit tart, the cheesecake, and cannolis! Back in the day they had chocolate gingerbreads and would order a pound. Though they still have fresh baked bread with sesame seeds or aka the italian roles!
Grandma’s Bakery is one of those old-school New York City Italian Brooklyn bakeries that you just don’t see as much anymore, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. They have a great variety of freshly baked breads, but the real stars here are the Italian cookies. You can tell they’re made fresh they’re buttery, soft, and full of flavor.

I have family in the area I visit occasionally and when I am here I always go to this bakery. I have been going for years, decades even. It remains extremely good value. I think they have probably only been doing muffins in the past few years, but they are the best I ever have.
